  1. I am never sure where to post these discussions.. sorry if this is not the right place. I am wondering if hair loss is linked to celiac/gluten intolerance? I do have thyroid issues and I am on thyroid medicine and have my levels checked, so it should not be linked to that. When I was younger I had a head full of thick hair... and in the last 10 years...
  2. Thanks! I am going to try the supplement you mentioned. I purchased some yesterday.. so it should be here tomorrow. I am HOPING it will help. If I could just feel better, it would be so nice. I don't know if this is common for anyone else but I have such tenderness, that I am guessing is my muscles.. like I can't stand a massage because the pressure hurts...
  3. Thanks, I think I am very overwhelmed In general and adding this to the mix is a lot. I don’t know why I don’t care more about my health. It’s frustrating. I want to be healthy but I guess I get side tracked on the negative things and cost and I give up and make myself sick. Also I’m very short so there’s no where for my weight to go and I had a C-section...
  4. I am curious, what things do you eat?
  5. Maybe if I felt I was getting healthier on this gluten free diet or saw some results like a little weight loss from not eating little Debbie cakes and breads and crackers or just felt like a million bucks I would be motivated. Unfortunately everytime I try to stick to a gluten free diet I lose no weight and my glucose /A1C always goes up. I don’t know what’s...
  6. I’m curious what kind of things do you eat? What kind of wraps? I have never seen these but we don’t have tons of options where I live
  7. Thank you so much, this is what I have been trying to clarify. Talking to you made it very simple. Thanks again
  8. I don’t think the area I live in offers genetic testing but I would be open to it. I have not had other deficiencies tested
  9. My antibody levels are a weak positive
  10. Thank you, that’s what I have been trying to figure out. It doesn’t make sense to me that I would be making antibodies specific to celiac disease if I don’t have celiac disease Thank you, that’s what I have been trying to figure out. It doesn’t make sense to me that I would be making antibodies specific to celiac disease if I don’t have celiac dise...
  11. So you feel like these physical symptoms are a reaction to gluten?
  12. Yes I’ve been doing both
  13. Thank you for your reply and this great information. I was so incredibly sick just trying to eat gluten here and there to see if I could even go back on it for an endoscopy…. the severe brain fog and exhaustion kept me from being able to work. And then I started having palpitations and SVT again which also kept me from working. I don’t see how it’s even ...
  14. Thanks this helps, but I guess what I am trying to figure out is whether or not I would have TTG-IGA antibodies present in my blood if I don’t have celiac. I have understood all along that a weak positive is still a positive. I don’t understand why I would have positive TTG IGA antibodies present / positive in my blood if I do not actually have celiac. ...
  15. Thanks, that makes sense. Just still doesn’t answer my lingering question/confusion about my antibody test
  16. I’m a tad confused. This is great information you provided but I’m still confused.. when you say you tested wonky what do you mean? Again I don’t understand how celiac / autoimmune diseases work but I didn’t think it was possible to have TTG-IGA antibodies present even as a weak positive and not have celiac disease
  17. Thanks! Interesting read. I guess all this just confuses me. I thought even a weak positive tTG-IgA indicated celiac disease. I didn’t think there were false positives
  18. Yes, I feel like I have been traveling down this road for a long time. I have had weak positive tTG IgA tests twice. The first result was 8, which was flagged as high, and the range was in the weak positive (4-10). I just had it retested recently after this rollercoaster gluten free diet I’ve been on. The level had come down 1 point. That’s it. It’s sti...
  19. Thank you. This makes sense
  20. I have posted on here several times before, but just a recap, I was tested and had positive TTG-IGA antibodies around 2015. I was told I absolutely did NOT have Celiac and only was intolerant of gluten but to go on a gluten-free diet which I did, but I was also told at one point to not continue a gluten free diet bc my glucose went up. I have only continued...
  21. Will NCGS cause positive TTG-IGA antibodies? I thought that wasn’t the case
  22. I feel physically and mentally absolutely terrible. My muscles are tender to touch. Im extremely exhausted. I can’t focus or work. Yesterday I was in the bathroom all day. Is this a normal reaction to gluten consumption even if it’s not a huge amount? If so how long does this last? Ive been in tears I feel so poorly and I’m scared I’m not going to get bac...
  23. Thanks. I am so confused by all this. Are the regulations different here than in the UK? I live in the states but I watch people on you tube in the UK with celiac disease and a lot of the products sold there have wheat starch
  24. So is Digiorno gluten free pizza safe or not?? I was so excited to finally find these at a local store I bought 4. I fixed one last night and have been in the bathroom all day. Not sure if it’s the pizza or something else. But I’m feeling poorly and very discouraged 🫤
