Yes I have and I have two odd tests that keep coming back odd which is the amount of protein in trine as well as my bilirubin tends to be pretty elevated but ultrasound everything looked good on..also, 3 months gluten free now

So have you been gluten-free for three months or longer then that? I ask cause ive herd depending on how high your antibodies where to gluten before that it can take much longer then three months for them to go back to within normal limits...also by light stool are you referring to the color cause that’s what I was referring to..mine have been very light l... -

Does anyone else here suffer from celiac as well as mild chronic gastritis?if so what are your symptoms and what helps you most with discomfort and pain? I’ve been gluten free about a month and a half now and having gastritis pain still.Hoping this gets better on gluten free diet over time..

Just curious, Has anyone else here tested for trace amounts of protein in urine before/during/shortly after diagnoses?? My doctors don’t know why I have it but aren’t super concerned as everything else was normal.

I’m just so scared this may not resolve on a gluten free diet and it’s been so painful and hard to live with I’ve had so many appointments and so many tests done at this point and can’t figure out what else would be causing the inflammation...I’m feeling a bit hopeless at this point as my symptoms don’t seem to be common in other celiacs..

Wow ok.... so you don’t know for sure yet if gastritis is gone cause have not had a follow up endoscopy yet? Is the gastritis pain Completely gone ?if so how long did it take for you to find relief from it on a gluten free diet?mine will hurt so bad and burn and feels raw almost but I’m only a month gluten free.

I may have posted something along these lines before but just wondering if anyone else has experienced biopsies of stomach(specifically the antrum/lower stomach) at time of celiac diagnoses coming back as showing mild chronic stomach inflammation?is this common in undiagnosed celiac and something that usually gets better on a gluten free diet?is it possible...

And yes, they have me on protonix, but I quit taking it a few days ago in fear it’s making my symptoms even worse I’m scared acid rebound will come any minute now...also on a meds for nerves,they think my nerves in my stomach are too sensitive...and I’m on carafate before every meal and before bed as it’s supposed to heal the stomach..

Did the doctor verify you had gastritis ?do they know what caused it and have you also been diagnosed with celiacs ?do you think untreated celiacs and gastritis have a link ? I’m just trying to figure this out tired of being in pain... also how long did it take yours to heal up and did you take anything else for it?

Hello,I have very similar issues, including the gastritis and even stool color... did they ever figure out the cause to your gastritis? Was it somehow linked to your celiacs??and did you ever find anything out about the stool color? Did this ever improve.? I also private messaged you. -

Yes I have definitely talked about this with my specialist as well as my doctor but it’s been really bad ever since I had to do the gluten challenge and I’ve gotten lots of mixed answers and opinion as to if they are related so it’s been difficult to figure out exactly where the stomach irritation is coming from for sure and it’s quite painful for me but ... -

Has the burning eased up any since gluten free at least and cutting out soy the best you can? Are you looking to make sure your not consuming soy anymore ? By grief do you mean other symptoms then gi symptoms ?
