After 1 month of being with a gastro doctor who wont help me out i decided to go to someone else, this new gastro order blood test for Celiac, but i was diagnosed 1 month ago by biopsy and am on the gluten free diet, will the blood tests show if i have been not eating any wheat products? I have bad diarrhea even after being gluetin free for 1 month and losing alot of weight, how can i keep my weight steadyor not lose anymore, im eating alot but nothing stays in my body.

I wondered if anyone has ever heard of this? My doctor (GI) diagnosed me with Celiac after biopsy of the intestines, but i am wondering if i have candida instead of celiac? or if this has anything to do with Celiac disease, cause i have had problems after taking alot of antibiotics and have had postive culture of Candida in the mouth?

Can someone tell me what this is and what it is used for? thanks

Does anyone use Ensure Plus? I saw on another board that this is gluten-free but somewhere on this board i saw that it may contain Gluetin? Does anyone know?

thanks to everyone that responded, my husband and i got into a fight last night because he got upset about the way i acted when his friends came past, ( i went into the house when they came cause i did not have a bra on) and he thought i was not social to them, then he told me he wished i would leave which he always says when he gets mad, i need to talk to someone about this cause i just cant stand the way he acts about my medical bills, scripts and so forth. My problems with him did not start when i was diganosed with Celiac they started along time ago. thanks everyone for listening.

Can anyone help me, i have white patches in my mouth which i have had these for 7 months, diganosed with Celiac 1 month ago, my doctors had me on Nystatin for this but it dont seem to help me, i have also been on some componded medicine which made the problem worse, Been tested for yeast 2 times and said Negative, but im not so sure cause i just cant get rid of this problem, no one seems to be able to help me here and i have a bad sore throat cause the patches are in my throat?

I am really upset about the amount of doctors and nurses who do not understand this diease, everytime i tell them i have this they say so then you have a allergy to wheat? Its hard to explain this to people so they can really understand, i usually tell them to look it up in there medical books. being new im trying to cope with this the best i can by reading all the information i can on the diet and going on messege boards like this one to read how other people cope, i know i have a long road ahead of me!

Does anyone else have problems with there spouse because of this disease? Before they found out i had this disease, i had to go to the ER several times because of pain and so forth, when i would leave to go there my husband would laugh and think it was all in my head. Now that they have found i have celiac disease he understands it some better, but still makes comments to me about different issuses like all the money i have to spend on scripts( i have had real problems with my mouth) and the docs and dentist have tried to help me with different scripts. I had to quit my job 7 months ago because it was really stressful and i was having diarrhea all the time and terrible stomach pain, now i dont have any money on my own without asking him to help me out, im depressed but trying to get better, I was just diganosed 3 weeks ago.

3 weeks ago after i went to the GI doctor for follow up for biopsy, he told me i have celiac disease he also told me that i have H. Pylori, the GI wants to wait for 1 month before starting to treat me for this infection( H. Pylori), I ask him why he wanted to wait for 1 month and he told me because the treatment for this bacteria is hard on your body, has anyone else had this bacteria?

Can anyone tell me if Nystatin is safe? I do not see it listed ?

Yes, thanks for the information, im going to the dentist today and going to find out if they can atleast try me on some medicine for these sores in my mouth, hopefully he can help me!

I called my GI doctor yesterday about the mouth sores and he told me to call the dentist to help me with the mouth sores, then the nurse told me that the mouth sores i had are not realated to celiac disease, i couldnt belive it! My dentist can not help me because i have been there before and all she gave me was oraljel or something like this. Im getting really upset cause i have lived with these for 7 months off and on. Im on the gluten-free diet and have noticed some changes in my mouth but not enough good changes, i dont know where to go next and thinking of changing my gi doc.

Does anyone know a good doctor in Ohio? I have DH with celiac disease and looking for a good doctor in the ohio area, if anyone knows one please post!

Does anyone know if the tacos at taco bell are gluten-free? being new im not sure if i can eat there or not? thanks

I was diganosed with Celiac last week and continue to have mouth sores but am on the gluten free diet, is there anything else the doc can give me to help me with these sores? Im not taking anything but Benytl for stomach pain and dont see the doc again for 2 weeks?

im new and waiting on my biopsy results, my doctor said that my villi was flat and he thinks i have this disease, I first noticed something was wrong with me when i got a ulcer in my mouth, does anyone else have this problem? What did they give you to help you with your mouth problems? Im not on any medication at this time except Benytl for stomach pains. Any information would be a help cause im lost at this point and trying to switch my diet.
