  3. Yes if it’s not labeled gluten free I don’t drink it as I don’t need to create a problem. Any input on beers labeled gluten removed or gluten free beers in Europe would be appreciated. Thanks.

  5. I stick with either Redbridge or Glutenberg when I want a beer. I’m Celiac and have never had an issue. Glutenberg offers four different types including an IPA. I just wish they were more widely available.
  6. I agree with Catherine. I was diagnosed with Celiac quickly thanks to a sharp GI doctor. She simply did biopsies In stomach and small intestines immediately. I tested positive for severe Celiac. I had zero gastric symptoms but would collapse and remain unconscious for five minutes or so. Anyway wheat free now for five years and zero problems. Read all labels...

  8. I agree with the cautionary comments. I was at a local brewery, Cabarrus Brewery in Concord, NC. They say they produce a gluten free beer brewed with barley that is treated with an enzyme then filtered that makes gluten well below 20 ppm which I believe is the standard. I did not taste but am curious. Anyone knowing of this beer or the process please comment...

  10. My Celiac was diagnosed about four years ago. I was quite fortunate and biopsies were done within a few weeks of me fainting. My biopsy showed celiac in the moderate to severe range.
