Thanks for this information…. It does look like on the metabolic screening her calcium and potassium where in the normal range so sounds like to your point things are in line

As a follow-up the dr said if she was crying/upset during the blood draw, that would account for it…which she definitely was!!!

It was part of a metabolic screening to check for things like anemia. The rest of the results came out in a normal range just don’t understand what and why for this specific result “carbon dioxide plasma or serum”. Thanks!

Anyone know what a low co2 level would mean? Saw my 2 year old metabolic test results and the carbon dioxide plasma or serum was at 18.7? All else looked normal. Thank you!

Got it, thank you! Do you think this could be the case even though she has had no symptoms since being diagnosed in May? also, just to throw out there. She had the stomach bug just before having these tests done. I wonder if this could throw off the results? -

Hi! Thanks for your response…yes, lots of dairy! I can’t imagine taking her off of it. Her igg and iga results where in the normal range as well… -
Can someone explain this? My daughter has been off gluten since May (ttg was 129) and last week her result from the ttg iga test was at 159. Dr will be calling but just received the results and am anxious to understand. She’s been doing fantastic since about a week after stopping gluten. No mishaps and daycare has been amazing with taking all precautions. ...
