I live in Knoxville and have struggled with finding decent places to eat that are celiac safe. I have never been to the Good Golly Tamale restaurant, but have bought tamales when the cart has been at the farmers market and can confirm they are delicious. I did a Google search and found that Good Golly, along with Mama C's and Donut Theory are dedicated gluten free, even though I have never tried the latter 2 places, but definitely will in the future. Petro's surprisingly, although fast food, has decent gluten free options and I feel pretty safe ordering from there. The downtown and Powell locations have outdoor seating. Most restaurants offer gluten free options, but are only gluten friendly at best.
