Typically, loss of villi is diagnostic of celiac. Inflammation can occur from various other causes too… so not specific for celiac

Hi, Not 100% but it shows eosinophilic esophagitis and since villi are preserved, neg for celiac. Should f/u with Gi. Hope you feel better soon.

We are vegetarian and my daughter has celiac, so it is very difficult when we travel. We have found that most resorts do cater to people with allergies. I usually will call ahead to find out if they have gluten free menu and if they have a dedicated kitchen. If it is an Airbnb, then you have the option to cook few meals and one can eat veggies and fruits... -

Hi All, Nee to Celiac and gluten free diet. Read that yeast extract is made from barley and manufactures are not required to list it. Is this true? If so, Taco seasoning contains it and may not be gluten free.
