Yes generally b12 is the most prevalent deficiency when vegan. The animals get vitamins from the grass and soil or they are supplemented and then fed to humans. I prefer to just eat the plants but b12 is found in soil and I'm not into eating dirt lol nutritional yeast contains b12 and I do eat that but not everyday etc.so much to learn about the power of...- 19 replies

One more thing lol Do you take such a high dose of thiamine because of your body's low absorption rate? How do you know what's getting in or not? I'm taking mine under my tongue because they say it's better absorbed that way buy who knows. Same with my b complex , d and iron- 19 replies

Oh and I felt almost immediately better within a few hours after eating bread. I dont think it's because of the vitamins in it if that were the case I would never go gluten free lol so I'm not really sure why it made my heart stop freaking g out but I was sure happy about it! I can feel my heart trying to act up again today. Hopefully it wont!- 19 replies

Thanks girl I will check out these links! The liquid rest is just green smoothies with your choice of fruits and green veggies with some kelp , dulse, hemp seeds chia seeds flax meal meal etc...highly nutritious but I think since I took the gluten out I was starving to death! Had no idea then. But it happens so fast! Like today I didn't eat any and I'm starving...- 19 replies

Yes I'm not sure if it was because I ate gluten or not because I was still having some brain issues before just a little different. I am going to try again and keep using thiamine as knitty kitty has suggested and maybe that will calm everything down. I don't mind not eating gluten but if I feel like the withdrawals are harming me then I can't do it. I feel...- 19 replies

Yes I thought the same and tried to hold off as long as I could but why do I feel better mostly after eating gluten? No digestive issues and I'm less dizzy than I was etc. More energy. You would think that if it was gluten withdrawal I would start to feel somewhat better not much worse at the 3 week mark. But idk! I'm gonna not eat it again and see what happens...- 19 replies

I have not been tested for gluten intolerance or celiac. After seeing my naturopath and having some sclerolgy done she saw some anemia and small intestinal damage. She did not suggest celiac but she is very strict in the health dept. Like we should only be eating mostly living foods because the rest is junk and bad for us. It's not that I disagree at all...

LOL RIGHT! I'm vegan so that leaves out the meat but I do eat some sunflower seeds . I think I'll wait on the thiamine for a bit as I have been e permeating with too many things lately that have not been complimentary to say the least. I took some L- thiamine acouple of weeks ago and it completely messed me up and had the opposite effect on me, everything...- 14 replies

Ok thanks for this info! I don't have any trouble rising from a squat. Do non diabetics need more as well? Maybe a little extra would help dizziness and anxiety? I'm hyper sensitive to things and everything new I try lately has had a negative impact and set me back. Ugh- 14 replies

Hey knitty! I thought I responded on the other post but maybe I didn't lol! My brain is a little all over the place these days! I am taking a b complex but not extra thiamine.what dosage do you take of that? Is it in olive oil? I actually had to call 911 last night to come Che k my blood sugar level at around midnight! I'm really struggling today with lightheaded/ dizziness! It's been 3 weeks since I went gluten free and aside from anxiety dizziness, the extreme hunger is terrible. No matter what I do or eat nothing really helps for long. Today I'm shaky and anxious and dizzy and feel like my blood sugar is very low. Is it common for blood sugar levels to be all over the...

Yes I’m aware of those but i believe they are talking about specific Auto immune diseases like lupus but i will look further into that. Right now it’s doing nothing but helping calm the beast for me 🙏🏼

You are welcome! the Ashwaghanda can take a little time to start it’s affects maybe a week of two of continuous use but i find it to be worth it if it can take some of this edge off! You start to go nuts after a while! 🤪 I’m just trying to stay positive and not get trapped in my head. I’m looking forward to being more vibrant than ever when this withdraw...

Hi, i just drink herbal teas and i didn’t know about the tea thing until a couple of months ago. I am anemic and have been taking siblingual iron and b12 and D3 to address that situation. I do believe that the gluten has been blocking most of my nutrient absorption that’s why I’m quitting eating it. I also started a probiotic a couple of days ago that ...

I'm not going to bother with the testing I'm just going to get rid of gluten. Anything that makes you feel this bad when you stop eating it can't be good for you! I have recovered from covid! Was about a week or so.

Thank you for that advise but I don't have any diarrhea. It's the dizziness that concerns me but I think it's mostly due to the anxiety. idk lol I didn't get tested because I feel that this totally resonates with me as I'm very intune with my body. Have many of the symptoms that I never knew about. I use holistic approaches to health and so giving this a...

Hey guys! I'm new to the gluten free lifestyle. It's been about 10 days and the dizziness anxiety and constant hunger are making me wanna loose my sh!t! Has anyone else experienced these symptoms after quitting gluten? I don't have tummy issues aside from the fact that I was backed up all of my life! Never thought it could be gluten because all I ever...
