I would in up in ER if I ate gluten for a whole week! I drained myself just eating it twice. The amount of bread, 1 slice the first day, ended with headache and feeling off. The second day 2 slices of wheat bread and it attacked me big time. I was having gas, bloating and then vomiting, I emptied my stomach out completely and my muscles were attacked...

I have been gluten free and it gets better, I know it is the gluten but the doctor wanted a formal diagnosis, I just can't afford to be sick every time I eat, it is awful and I know it damages my body. If it means not getting a diagnosis then so be it, my health comes first. Thanks for the comments, this site is really helpful, great support.

HI, my doctor suggested one week of consuming gluten before blood tests. I have been gluten free for 3 years. Has anyone been through this and will I get exact results after one week of consuming gluten? I don't even know if I can do this, if I get sick I am not sure if I can continue, any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information. I vomited once after the epley treatment but felt sick all the time. The vertigo was bad and I still feel off but now have constipation and gas, every muscle and nerve wants to burp. What about milk magnesium in liquid form could this help? Or probiotics? I feel like I have stomach yeast right now. Thanks for your... -

Update, also had BPPV was rushed to ER on the 16th on December, verified my heart but was good. Let's say it has been horrible and the dizziness is going away gradually with massage therapy and mostly fasting. I was so dizzy it followed a bout of vomiting and now have swollen glands neck and under chin. Could this be gluten related? My stomach and... -
Can taking cefadroxil for infection make me feel like I have gluten stomach issues without the vomiting?

Thanks Scott, would be good to get tested, it's a family illness.

Thanks, I will give this a try.

Thanks, I have magnesium combined with D3 but the rest I have not considered. On what degree did these vitamins help you regain normal sleep patterns and stop you from going to the loo? How long does it take to work?

Does anyone suffer from constant insomnia and frequent urination at night? Are these issues caused by gluten? If so, what are some remedies?

Hi Tyler, Sorry you are going through all these digestive issues, I went through to the same thing for a period of two years, huge non-stop bouts of nausea and pain. I went gluten free in April of this year and it is getting better, you are either gluten sensitive or have celiac, would be good to get tested. My brain fog is gone, body pain gone, vertigo...

increased insulin dosage after gluten free diet?
Beverley Ann Johnson replied to Flaco's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I had itchy inner ears as well. It was very bothersome and now I realize it is gone, gluten free since April. No more vertigo, itchy ears, nausea, brain fog, stomach issues, bloating and lower left intestinal pain. A whole lot less pain in general. -

Thanks, there might be something there. I will stay away from that product until I figure out what caused my reaction. -
Parador chicken broth
Beverley Ann Johnson replied to Beverley Ann Johnson's topic in Super Sensitive People
No Scott, I did not call them. Ingredients are reconstituted chicken broth, water, glucose, solids, salt, sugar, modified corn starch, msg, chicken fat, onion powder, hydrolyzed corn protein (yeast extract) garlic powder, flavor, spice extractives, contains celery, dehydrated parsley, ground turmeric, citric acid, xanthan gum, caramel powder (sulphites)... -
I was craving soup today so I made a pot of celery soup using Parador chicken broth to give it taste. I added onions, celery leaves, garlic, a small potato, turnip and some herbs. I processed it all and then added some coconut milk to thicken it. I had a reaction and got really sick, swollen belly and vomitting. Could this be because of the...

Symptoms on gluten-free diet
Beverley Ann Johnson replied to Moogle39's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I agree with you Scott, from experience the gluten can cause triggers and an immune response which is my case by experience. Gluten free since April and my gut is thanking me, so is my intestines and no more vomiting, no immediate headaches and skin rash, I am not going back! Gluten is harmful if you have celiac or NCGS! You have to experience the pain... -
Symptoms on gluten-free diet
Beverley Ann Johnson replied to Moogle39's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
No Scott, I did the celiac test last spring but was not eating much gluten at the time, it showed negative. I know you have to eat gluten for the test to be accurate but I am so sick when I consume food with wheat or gluten, I just decided to go gluten free. I am feeling more tired since starting B 12 at 1200 mcg's a day and have a sore tongue, hope it... -
Symptoms on gluten-free diet

I asked for allergy test with my GP, they won't give it, it is always a dead end here, sad but true. They just told me to do the elimination diet and that is hard. I know it is the gluten or the wheat. How accurate is the Everlywell test and does it mesure up to Dr's standards or do they just deny it? -
I know this post is old but I had constant vertigo and was told the same thing as you that it was crystals in the inner ear. I found out that it was not. My dizziness was caused by gluten and also the fact that vegetarians have low levels of B 12 which can cause dizziness and fatigue with brain fog.

Symptoms on gluten-free diet
Beverley Ann Johnson replied to Moogle39's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I would be careful with the gluten. I too am following the gluten-free because of some really bad reactions lately. I did a lot of research in the past years as I have been firstly diagnosed with FM then IBS and now I am challenging the gluten. I always had pain everywhere especially in the lower left intestine and lower back, when I went gluten free the... -

Gluten Free Pizza Recipe - BEST EVER! (NO YEAST) (glutenfreecuppatea.co.uk) you might want to try this home made crust I found on the web. It is easy and fast to make, I added a small bit of olive oil to my hands during the kneading and instead of pan frying I baked it in the oven (without the topping) for about 10 minutes then dressed it and baked until...
