  1. For me tea tree oil seems to make any kind of blister I have worse. Not sure why. I prefer not to put anything topical on blisters but to do my best to let it dry out and keep it cool. 6000 milligrams of vitamin C and lysine clear the rash quick for me.
  2. Google about gluten because gluten free is not really gluten free because all grains have gluten it's just not the same gluten as barley wheat and rye. That's where gluten cross reactives come in. I did elimination diet food testing for a lot of the last year where you try one food only and wait three days to see if a reaction occurs. For me if I react to...
  3. I haven't noticed any issues with tapioca but I have cut out coconut because it seemed to be a possible symptom trigger. Maybe it's the coconut?
  4. Love the niacin pellagra info. Thanks a bunch.
  5. The niacin makes sense because it's supposed to clear toxins. People say it helps pass drug tests so I took it before to try to pass a pee test for marijuana. It honestly didn't make me test negative though. I hate how it makes me feel all red and pins and needles but it subsides quickly. Do you have a suggestion on how many mgs to take? I just took 500 mgs...
  6. Thanks for the niacin suggestion. I'm going to try that. Tea tree oil seems to make the lesions worse whether it's a cold sore on my lip or a rash on my butt. Thanks for the info on glue in rolling papers. I smoke out of a bong though so I know it wasn't the papers in these instances. I guess I should maybe stop trying to treat the condition and let it get...
  7. I just researched a bunch the last couple days and did a couple experiments. I've been praying asking God to help me figure out why I get the rash. Ive done elimination diet experiments for the last year and a half. Eating one food only, then fasting 3 days after to see if I react and then trying another food. Once I figure I could tolerate a certain food...
  8. Forgot to mention read my post on vitamin C and lysine.
  9. I've done the elimination diet for about a year. I noticed I tend to react more to protein foods that are high in arginine and low in lysine. Although I do break out even from quinoa which is higher in lysine. Corn and tapioca are the only gluten subs that I don't seem to have any type of skin reaction to. Tapioca is higher in lysine not sure why my body...
  10. I don't react to gluten externally that I notice but my skin is sensitive and most soap either makes me break out itch or have scalp sores. The only soap I can use is Burts Bees baby soap.
  11. It sounds like you may have some gluten cross reactive issues. Google gluten cross reactives. I react to chocolate and rice. The only gluten subs I don't have reactions to are tapioca( which makes delicious bread and is a root veggie not a grain.) and corn. I do react to chocolate unfortunately. You could try subbing carob for chocolate. Tastes pretty much...
  12. Omg. I feel this. My folks came to visit and we went out to eat. I realized I hadn't been out to eat the entire year I lived here and then when We went out twice and I was exposed to gluten each time I remembered why I don't go out to eat. Home cooking is safer and really even if someone were to make something for me at home it's suspect because many people...
  13. Damn girl. Get a female doc that's going to work for you and test for what you ask for. If my doctors fighting me I go to the next one. Luckily my current doctor ran all the tests I've asked for so far. Thank God. I'm in Louisiana though and you don't even need referrals to see specialists here. Laid back Louisiana.
  14. Look into gluten cross reactives. About seven months into going gluten free I started rushing and found out I react to gluten cross reactives. Not all of them but many. Also look into elimination diets to test food reactions. Elimination diet was extremely helpful to me.
  15. I at one point in my life developed lactose intolerance. I had thrush throughout my body even in my throat and then the lactose intolerance began. Any time I ate dairy I'd had stomach cramps and diarrhea. If you go to the health food store look for the lactase enzyme. It helps the body break down lactose. I took lactase for two months after developing the...
  16. Please read my post about vitamin C and lysine. I once had blisters all over my body and thought it was poison ivy.
  17. Hi. I'm going to give a little background on this question. So for years and years I had acne. It started when I was 7. I had the HPV virus from 24 years old until this year. After I got pregnant at 23 I started to get constant cold sores on my mouth. At approximately 27 I went to a naturopathic doctor in an attempt to clear hpv 16. She suggested I take megadoses...
