  3. He said I would need my bloods checking yearly to make sure I wasn’t deficient in anything. A yearly flu jab and every 5 a jab to fight meningitis - that’s if I have do have celiac disease.
  4. I agree I need to eliminate gluten either way but celiac disease is worse so I’d like to know. He said I would need a yearly flu jab and other jabs and tests if celiac disease. I did wonder if I could still have it and have caught it early as I don’t have many symptoms.
  5. So I could have sensitivity to gluten and need to cut it out of my diet? The professor still seems to think it’s celiac disease because of my blood results. Surely if my intestines look healthy it can’t be celiac disease?
  6. The doc said it all looked healthy but I need to wait for my biopsy results now. Could this mean I don’t have Coeliac Disease?
  7. All done. I’m just coming off the drugs slowly and waiting for a drink
  8. I will be awake throughout it all but with some sedation to ease the anxiety. I’m also scared of needles just to top it all off.
  9. My endoscopy is tomorrow afternoon. Any last words of advice? I am extremely anxious 😬
  10. I’ve seen the specialist this morning and I’m booked in for an endoscopy on the 21st July 😞
  11. Thanks everyone. I shall let you know how it goes on Saturday with the consultant. I had a pizza last night and felt totally fine afterwards - typical.
  12. So basically I have to have the biopsy if that’s what’s suggested by the consultant on Saturday 😞. I’ve heard it’s not very nice in the UK
  13. Thanks for your reply Russ. I’m pretty fit and healthy so I can’t see it being anything else. I don’t suffer with pain only bloating and an uncomfortable feeling plus, I get heart palpitations when I eat heavy meals like a sandwich with fries (it’s like I’m anxious). My grandma also has Coeliac disease. Could it be I just need to try stay away from...
  14. Hi Trents, Are you a medical profession? I can’t stop thinking about my results it’s driving me crazy! In your opinion as I tested positive 29.1 for my TTG-IGA however, I tested negative for my IGA endomysial AB results what does that mean to you? I really don’t want to have a biopsy done. Do my results sound high to yo...
  15. My specialist has just cancelled my appointment on Monday 😡 so now it’s the following Saturday. The waiting is driving me crazy!
  16. I live in the UK. I’m going private though. I shall let you know how I get on. Thanks again
  17. Hi, thank you so much for that information. I’m probably going to have to go down the biology route then but I’m scared. I’m a wimp and hate hospitals. Are my levels classes as mild? If so does that mean I could always be care with gluten or will I have to never eat it again? I’m a real foodie and this is going to be very difficult. Thanks again f...
  18. Hi, These results are on my referral letter and the doctor said my tTN results were positive or in other terms raised and that was enough evidence for them to send me onto a specialist. I don’t have anymore information until I see a specialist 😞
  19. Hello, I wondered if you could help me understand my recent blood tests from the doctors. I’ve tried to Google the life out of it and it’s all very scientific. my tTG results came back as follows TTG IGA 29.1 u/ml, negative IGA endomysial AB. I am being referred to a gastroenterologist to discuss further and maybe have a biopsy. My only sym...
