  1. I think i may have a little psoriasis too. Flared up after a recent run in. It’s shocking how undereducated our doctors are on the subject. I see why I takes years for a diagnosis. I know I have one, I just would like reassurance from an actual physician. Although I personally trust myself more at this point, lol
  2. It was low indeed! And I think we have the latent type of Celiac that doesn’t show up in testing. My daughter’s dh & nausea has gotten worse the last couple weeks from increased consumption:( Do you get the flat hive type of dh or the raised ones that are kinda like weird acne? And no , I need to but got frustrated/mad at my doctor & haven’t b...
  3. I feel like we have latent Celiac (I think it’s called that) The type that affects skin & neurological more than digestive. I think it doesn’t show up in test from where it doesn’t cause the antibody from digestion damage. I’m scared of any type of gluten challenge from where my grandmother had seizures & I get those terrible migraines when I eat i...
  4. Oh it looks identical to the dh rash pics online. It burns, itches & very slow healing. My face has recently looked like I’ve been in fight from where it’s flared up so bad & I’ve barely touched it! I was just hoping for someone who’s seen the rash personally before to give the reassurance.
  5. Hey there , I think you’ve given me advice before. Do you mind to take a look at these & see what you think? I posted a new topic because we are still battling here. But no responses yet , probably because I may not have it posted in right place. Thanks for the help. These are from my daughter’s face & mine:( It’s so upsetting!
  6. Oh bless your heart! My last one was so painful that if I had better insurance & wasn’t covered up with hospital bills from trying to find what’s wrong with me ..then I would’ve went to the ER! It was a 3 day one after I risked it at KFC:( The acne is horrible, takes forever to heal..months. Hope yours gets better. I’m about to try neem’s oil!
  7. Hoping to find a “celiac expert” who may be able to help with a diagnosis. Finding doctors educated in celiac disease seems to be almost non existent in my experience! I’m fearful that both my daughters have celiac disease & my 4mo granddaughter as well. My blood work only showed low iga levels & scope testing showed some gastritis & lymphocytes raise...
  8. Hi there! Do you get a lot of headaches or weird skin rashes or acne? There’s a type of celiac that doesn’t attack the digestive system as bad as it does skin & causes neurological issues & inflammation throughout body. My tests weren’t super clear either. Not sure if from where I I have latent celiac or from where my appetite was so small prior to te...
  9. Any helpful celiac info could be relevant to your daughter. We aren’t discussing sports here:)
  10. Demodex mites. I think when my immune system was at its lowest this past year was dealing with a few extra of them. Since gluten-free have put on 2 1/2 lbs so far after not being able to get past 111 lbs this entire past year (normally around 125) & drop to 104 when I got Covid a year ago. My 15 yr old has dropped around 40 lbs the 1-2yrs. Yesterday I...
  11. Sure:) https://www.cedars-sinai.org/health-library/diseases-and-conditions/d/dermatitis-herpetiformis.html What I get on my face & back looks like this https://www.consultant360.com/articles/dermatitis-herpetiformis & I get these on my fingers after shower occasionally. And my daughter used to on her toes https://www.drhomeo...
  12. I think there’s the small itchy blister type & type that’s more like an angry infection picked at pimple that won’t heal & scars? Leaves a purplish scar.
  13. Oh ok! So are you familiar with the DH rash? I think I may have both types of it. Some of mine like to reappear seems like once healed. I was able to get a script for dapsone from my gyn a few days ago & is most definitely healing them faster than anything I’ve ever tried the last few yrs but I’m not sure that’s a diagnosis in itself because I know some ...
  14. Hey there! I’m having a similar issue! Huge amount of celiac disease symptoms but unclear test results due to low diet in gluten prior. Was she eating at least 2 slices of bread a day for at least a few weeks before her tests? It takes quite a bit. Also a gluten-free diet helps with acne kinda quickly...it’s so hard to eliminate gluten completely that it’...
  15. I know this post is so old but has been a blessing to find! My answers:)
  16. Oh thank you! It’s like a squeezing pain that radiates in my throat kinda , as if it’s coming from inflammation feels like. And yes we both have dermatologist appts, but not until Sept:( My lesions are a little more dramatic/slow in healing than my daughter’s but she seems to have the biggest reaction to bug bites of anyone I know & thats appar...
  17. I knew about the 2 slices but not the” 2 weeks before “ thanks. She’s been breaking out since back on. Here’s a pic of her back
  18. I have been worrying about this sort of thing but was kinda scare to bring it up to her but if I feel I must after ready. Thank you, any & all information seems like a blessing to me! Speaking of blessings... After praying hard last week for answers, l look over at my youngest during church this past Sunday & noticed a calcium spot on her...
  19. I’ve been gluten-free since May but have had a handful of run ins with gluten. My skin is clearing...absolutely. Maybe a little improvement in digestive issue. Still tired, still wake up itching during night, not rash related. I know it takes time & I think some detox symptoms also come into play? She just started, it’s making her miserable, as man...
  20. My oldest had her gallbladder taken out in order to try to alleviate digestive issues in her teens. Taken out based on being symptomatic of needing it out because her gallbladder function was borderline normal in tests. She ended up with a better appetite but did not fix all her symptoms. She inherited bad gallbladder from dad’s side. She’s in her 3 tr...
  21. I’m so sorry about your wife’s passing:( Both my girls had horrible digestive issues as babies too. My youngest reminded me recently of how she reacted to a “flour beauty mask” she made when she was younger for a phone video, turned her face bright red. And how she used to get an itchy throat from tasting flour straight out of the canister at her grandmo...
  22. Yes I was so thankful for minimal damage! I tried to post my results on here, but not sure if they uploaded right. Gluten free is so hard & requires being aware of everything single thing that goes in ones mouth. I just need a little more proof I have it before my girls will consider the diet & take it completely serious too:/
