  1. No problem. I think I had to learn the hard way by accidentally eating some of those products and having stomach pain and going through a list in my head of what I ate the day before. A lot of trial and error now I read labels like a hawk.
  2. I'm so sorry you are going through this. It's good you found this online community to lend you some support. I find that with my own journey with celiac I got it diagnosed at the hospital after a week of being in severe stomach pain and no answers they ran every test on me and finally did an endoscopy and only then did they find out I had celiac disease....
  3. I got diagnosed 8 years ago with celiac disease and now recently with colitis and gall bladder sludge. Have been in the hospital 4 times this year. Point is I wish I had walked away from my retail management job when I first got diagnosed to properly heal and figure out this autoimmune disease. I didn't really understand it. I just pushed forward with constant...
  4. I know someone here was mentioning coffee but I would disagree. I would have constant stomach pains everytime I drank coffee and took me trying a lot of different brands til I found one that didn't bother me also I had to drink it with coconut milk. The thing we don't know yet if he is lactose intolerant too because that is what happened to me years after...

That was like 7 years ago. So, the...
  6. Yes I am aware it's an autoimmune disorder. I've had it for 8 years.
  7. I wish you all the best of luck with your blood work and getting some more answers. I remember when I started having gastrointestinal issues and was having fatigue my primary sent me to a rheumatologist that told me I had fibromyalgia. I don't know what information he made that on but I wanted a second opinion. So, keep looking for your answers I know you...
  8. Yes I realize a functional doctor is expensive. What I am saying is sometimes you won't always get the answers you are searching for in the conventional methods by seeing a primary care doctor and gastro. I am still trying to find a decent gastro doctor. What I am trying to say is once you start having damage with one thing you said you lost your gall bladder...
  9. Hi Eileen, Sorry you are going through this whole ordeal it can be frustrating when you are trying to figure out what you can and can't eat. I know when I first got diagnosed with celiac disease I felt it was a bit daunting and overwhelming the gastro doctor printed out a piece of paper some generic info about celiac disease that didn't explain much and...
  10. For me the symptoms I experience is typically a headache that feels like a lightheaded type of feeling. It feels similar like when you start feeling buzzed after drinking too much. I get that after I accidentally get glutened and I feel a wave of nausea wash over me. Luckily I have some ondasteron I take if it ever gets to that point. As far as the jelly...
