  1. Potatoes do not have gluten, but they are nightshade plants which contain poisonous alkaloids. Persons with genetic mutations on the BCHE gene are especially susceptible. (see "butyrylcholinesterace deficiency," and a few variations on that name.) Any potato skin with green should be discarded, and never eat raw potatoes. I suggest avoiding all nightshade...
  2. You mean "err." Potassium is contraindicated in kidney disorders. But it's in so many healthy foods.
