  1. I been out and about. Not much psilly going on here. Bout to have some cheeseburger soup!
  2. I'm just trying to figure out how they found his ID in that charred rubble. I've dug through a burned-down house.....
  3. That may be it- it was about 42-43 degrees, in the sun shoveling I got so warm I had to strip a few of those layers of wrapping! Clearly, shoveling is not one of the 'recommended exercises'. I'm pretty sure it's stress that's made the past few months worse. Which is frustrating because I've kept my diet super-clean, 90% organic, grain-free...
  4. So (this question is for the ladies) you know how you've always been told that exercise will help your cramps? Yeah, that's a bunch of CRAP. I just did major cardio shoveling and it's WAY worse. I feel like the people in the Aliens movies, something's about to come bursting out of there! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
  5. This might just be one of the nicest things I've ever heard about a couple loving each other.
  6. We got some kinda sleet thing going on here, and almost a foot already. I'll be happy if we don't lose power.
  7. I think my hormones are all out of whack lately, one day I desperately want a donut (the soft kind with chocolate icing....) and then it's pizza and then it's pasta alfredo and then the next day it's something else. I'd think I was pregnant if that were physically possible..... Dinner tonight: Homemade chicken soup, also Chebe and some cheddar...
  8. I gotsa a spare room with a potty in it! And a mini-fridge! Also, super-awesome kitchen with a truly excessive amount of cabinet space (funny what having your house burn down will get you.....) I live in CT, much nicer here! Hasn't gone into the negatives once yet this year! IT is an electric stove though, as I am afraid of fire.... wonder why?.....
  9. HAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! It's a complicated business, these vegetables.... :D
  10. I made cheeseburger chowder. Grass-fed beef, onions, potatos, pan-roasted cauliflower, scallions, milk, sharp/extra sharp cheddar & romano, and a whole pound of sour cream. Not for the the faint (or clogged!) of heart hahahahaha!!! Ooooooh so tasty, especially in such cold weather.
  11. My five-year plan: Stay alive. Don't wind up in jail.
  12. Curried boneless chicken thighs with fried onions & broccoli!
  13. Something different- pot roast! Hhahahahahaha......
  14. Darling, I love you, but I have to ask- how is alfredo worth that?
  15. Good point, I may be entirely too easy to please.
  16. I roasted a chicken! A whole one! And it's DELICIOUS. The internet really does know everything! Hahahahahah!!!!!!
  17. It took you *this* long to figure that out? Hahahaha!!!!!
  18. Someone must be stealing it all, I don't have an either!
  19. The funny thing about being in New England is you can see both of those people walking side by side on a 57 degree day here!
  20. The link didn't work, but I looked it up on my own- very funny!
  21. There is far too little activity here lately for someone home with the flu. Someone do something funny!
  22. Ok, there is nowhere near enough activity here to entertain someone stuck home with the flu. The annoying thing (or nice! depending how you look at it) is that I'm really not very ill, has been very mild, I just don't want to go anywhere and spread my flu germs around, you know? Also, has anyone else ever had the flu start with just a cough, then morph...
  23. Having realized I am a horrible person, here is the link to the funny video I was talking about: If that doesn't work, the video is called 'One Grain More' by Michael Bihovsky
