  1. Well, the words 'food poisoning' are accepted as referring to food-borne illness. So are they saying that a glutening makes you more susceptible to food-borne illness? So confused.....
  2. To answer your question, there is no guarantee that you will ever 'behave' with your diet if you have gotten so drunk that you don't remember doing the things you're talking about. If there's enough alcohol in your system to make you forget what you've done, there's enough alcohol in your system to make you forget your diet, too. It's possible, I've been...
  3. "Acute food poisoning can occur after gluten exposure"? What does that even mean?.....
  4. Maybe cook beans and then make flour out of them? No idea if that would work. Also, big giggle at your topic heading...
  5. I'd say it's likely the Rice Dream. There's been too many reports of issues with it here on the board to count.
  6. Survey says: Lay off the rum for now. Give it a few months and when you do go out to drink again, don't get all drunk, silly!
  7. Peanut butter?
  8. Given that you've tried lactose free products and still have issues, it's likely an intolerance of the protein in cow's milk, called casein, that's affecting you. The advice to try a little goat's milk still holds, although if you're worried about the cost of fish, then the cost of goat's milk products will be fairly high for you as well. Perhaps a fairly...
  9. Well, have you had any episodes of a glutening where you knew for sure you'd been hit? That sounds pretty severe to be a glutening to me. It does happen to some people, but it's fairly rare for that reaction to a glutening to come out of nowhere when it's never happened before. I'd say it was probably the stomach flu, especially with the fever. Celiac...
  10. Everyone wanna reason to celebrate? Well, everyone that can tolerate eggs, dairy, and tapioca flour that is..... Sorry. I took Addy's cheese bread and fried it in a pan like crepes. CAN YOU SAY TORTILLAS? For softer results, use very low heat and cover the pan. For crispy, crunchy, taco-shell-like deliciousness turn it up a little and fry uncovered...
  11. Oh it comes up if you google it it's not currently being sold on Amazon so it didnt come up with an amazon search.
  12. Oh when I search Amazon it only comes up with the hot cereal. Ain't that odd? Stupid websites!
  13. Where did you find reviews for The Eco-planet toaster pastries? I think I'm internet challenged!
  14. Oh, my #$%$$ $%&#@ $%&** THEY'RE FROSTED.
  15. Actually, the article clearly stated that wheat stubble, or grass, is used for certain things, and that wheat starch, which (I think?) must come from the grain itself, is used for other things. Now, I hope sincerely that the OP has gotten over their initial freak-out reaction to this. It's easy to freak out at everything. As for me, this article has not...
  16. If it's lactose intolerance that's removed your dairy, maybe try goat milk products? I'd give yourself a few weeks on your 'safe' diet and then see if you can tolerate a little goat cheese. Also, any reason to be avoiding eggs?
  17. My concerns on that list would be plastic film-used regularly to cover food for storage, EATING UTENSILS- , medical swabs, biodegradable packaging-when I buy organic veggies at my local grocery chain they are frequently packaged in this, and textile finishing agents. With the textiles it doesn't seem likely to be a problem, it would just wash out I'd...
  18. Nice work!
  19. Oh, the hunger thing! I went a whole year without being able to sleep through the night, having to get up to eat. Boy, I don't miss that!!!!
  20. Their chocolate chips are the best, in my opinion!
  21. A lot of people have reported a decreased tolerance for alcohol, turning into lightweights basically overnight. This same thing happened to me, and I love it! I might be weird, but I'm also a cheapskate, and I have a fondness for top- shelf alcohol. Now, if I'm drinking just to enjoy something, it's only one glass of beer or wine. I'm I'm drinking to...
  22. I've had to pass on the coffee for a few months now, in order to prevent cold sore outbreaks. It doesn't bother my stomach at all anymore, though it used to. In fact, coffee in the AM is less upsetting than tea, to my actual stomach, sometimes tea makes me a little nauseous. I can't even begin to tell you how INCREDIBLY frustrating it is to not have coffee...
  23. Open Original Shared Link I love avocados. It drives me nuts that the above link is ENTIRELY true ahahahahaha!!!
  24. I think it's a fascinating idea. I've never personally been stung by anything, it might have happened when I was too young to remember, but not in my memory anyway. I would hesitate for me personally because I so rarely get glutened, and when I do my symptoms are now quite manageable. I mean I'm miserable, but I don't deal with the kind of pain you and...
  25. If your goal here is to help people, 'Learn to not be so sensitive' is entirely non-functional.
