  1. My celiac sister was diagnosed in her 30's and I was c 50 yrs. The yeast issue might explain why gluten problems are triggered at certain points in life.
  2. My reading at the time is that the dermo needs to take a biopsy from the sound skin at the edge of the affected area. Surely the 'cut' bit should have had some examination by laboratory if only to rule out other conditions?

Yes I did go to a dermatologist who was dismissive of my suggestion that it was gluten related but I was to have another appointment for a biopsey.... at more expense and pain.   4. Thank you for posting that article. DH for me is itchy rash on palms of hands and fingers and soles of feet and then odd spots on trunk that seem to have a cycle of three weeks to go over.
