  1. You might consider checking for other food intolerances. I learned I have a sulfur intolerance, plus histamine intolerance. Many people with celiac have several food issues. A big cue for sulfur is if you get sick after eating eggs. You may also look into heavy metals and mycotoxin testing (hair, urine). After years of research I believe they could be...
  2. A nutritionist I respect said that until the main food sensitivities are found, the body can keep developing new ones. This is the balancing act In facing now, with severe health issues and few things I can keep down. I hope that as the months or years go by, maybe my body will be less sensitive. For today, I feel how frustrating it is. I hope you find things...
  3. Hello friend! I am just about to hit six weeks gluten free. I am improving at a glacial pace and it feels scary and frustrating. I often poo yellow goo or greasy stuff and believe this is sometimes fat. I’ve replaced pots and pans, dog food, even toothpaste and dental floss. Total overhaul. I’ll share this link that I found this week because it hel...
  4. I am not complaining. Truly. I am not. I was limited my whole life by illness, then almost died, now am deeply disabled and trying to recover. Home bound for three years now. Isolated. Limited, on oxygen, falling daily. Broken, sure, but mending week to week. I am determined to recover but can’t control when. Trouble with being bedridden is, you h...
  5. I am using them for mycotoxin binding, they are the more gentle binders. You may like looking into “tox-ease gl” by Beyond Balance® which is great stuff and full of helpful herbs etc that go well with fulvic and help it do its best work. I say, go for it!
  6. Well, lots of anti juicers as it turns out! But honestly it has been great for me. It’s mostly vegetables and it’s helping me get nutrients in a way my body can handle. It’s not my long term plan, but for however long I need it, it has been very positive. I’m a lot sicker than people can see, and MECFS and POTS are parts of that. I just can’t diges...
  7. I’m feeling a little attacked, though that is probably not the intention. I will talk to my doctor but so far the juice is helping. My supplements are all approved by her and she is good at what she does. We are all different and I only wanted to talk about juicing, but that is not where the thread is going. Thanks!
  8. Thanks! For the record, I would be juicing mostly vegetables, so there would not be a lot of sugar. I did very poorly with meats and cooked veg. I also have mycotoxin poisoning which can take years or longer to heal. I’m looking to mostly triage at this point.
  9. Hi all! I am at four weeks gluten free tomorrow, still a very long way to go but every few days I see a little progress. And that’s a lot! I tried having some vitamixed carrots (liquid) last night, hoping it would be pre digested enough that I could handle the fresh veg. I was up late (3am) with tummy discomfort. Leaky gut is definitely a Big problem. ...
  10. I get cold (and hot) very very easily. You can also get cold if you don’t have a lot of fat on you. Mine is caused by dysautonomia, a co occurring celiac issue. It is already getting a little easier sometimes with better supplements, per the angels on this stellar forum. Bloodwork may be normal because it could be detecting what you ate, not accurately m...
  11. If it helos, I only put the pieces together, on my own, just under four weeks ago. I am still very sick, but doing a little better every few days. I refuse to gluten myself to get tested. Many others do as well. I have had it my whole life, but covid kicked it into high gear three years ago and I almost died. So I will not touch gluten on purpose. Some...
  12. Choline was upvoted by my physician, and higher dose thiamine has also been ordered! Thank You to everyone for being such phenomenal, helpful mentors. I really can’t say how much this helps me. I was even able to walk around the house a little bit today, and take a bath too! Y’all have been so lovely. Thank you. PS my partner is going to the store tom...
  13. @Wheatwacked I’ve never even heard of choline… Meeting with my doc today and will ask her! She’s a 10 mg of choline are in my multi but I alleviate what you said about how we are not “normal” people, especially in early recovery. Had some more kefir with breakfast and the food didn’t stab inside! Major progress!! I added turmeric and black peppe...
  14. @knitty kitty My multi is pure encapsulations “o.n.e. Vitamin” which has 3mg (250%) thiamine, as HCI B1. My thiamine bloodwork in October was not low (B6 was low and I take a different supplement just for that, 5880%). Is the thiamine in this multi enough, do you think? Hope it’s okay to ask. I literally have 38 bottles of supplements and meds bucket so it...
  15. I’m really interested in this, as high dose CBD is the only thing that has ever muted daily severe seizures… And yesterday, after one serving of dairy kefir, I slept seven whole hours! I am constantly awakened by painful gas, bloating, diarrhea, and urinary incontinence, and believe the kefir must have helped. I also had some chicken pate yesterday that tas...
