  1. I have the left side under rib pain. It's beyond annoying and causes me great anxiety. A massage therapist said it was possibly a hiatal hernia, which if you research HH along with the ileocecal valve, there's a connection between the 2. If I press hard on my IC valve (between the belly button and the right hip bone) it makes the left side rib pain worse...
  2. The redness, absolutely!! Tennis, running, saunas, steam rooms, to no avail. And it's always been that way, even deodorant was never a necessity of sorts either. My very unscientific theory to this is, could the 'consistency' of all that gluten, throughout a lifetime, basically gum up the sweat glands? And does the lymphatic system take the brunt of...
  3. Thank you both!! B12 is in my B complex so I only added the sublingual at most, once a day. I will try increasing the dosage moving forward. The sjogrens connection is interesting as when I finally 'crashed' (so to speak) over the past year my mouth was incredibly dry/burning, strange, even my teeth were dry if that makes any sense. And I remembered when...
  4. yes, interestingly, it can be related to autoimmune, Sjogrens and Scleroderma https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/266427#causes weird, my mom had celiac but my younger brother had severe scleroderma, maybe there's a link.
  5. quite recently actually, I'm only 7 weeks gluten-free, genetic testing revealed HLA DQ 2, 1, 3, and I've always had difficulty sweating so I wasn't sure if it was related. I'm curious to see that as time goes on gluten-free, things will change. It's annoying, I call it 'sweat constipation'
  6. just checking if anyone has a difficult time sweating and/or if this is related somehow to either celiac/gluten sensitivity or possibly adrenal fatigue? I thought that my being cold 24/7 was due to thyroid, but that was not the case. And then I recently read that feeling cold was a symptom of low adrenal function. I've never been much of a 'sweater...
  7. omg, that has to be why I feel so good when I take niacinamide!! I was afraid I was taking too much and then I read on one of @Wheatwacked posts recommending the 500mg's B1 and B3. I've also purchased NMN, but have yet to try it. Have you found that regular niacin works better than niacinamide? This is gross, but whenever I changed out of my leggings...
  8. Iodine 320 to less than 50 in some women?? Good God, no wonder breast cancer exploded. And it came out of nowhere!! It was like all of a sudden, in the late 70's/early 80's breast cancer had become every woman's nightmare. I also remember how the 'experts' tried to sell us on Soy, comparing US women's health to that of Japan. Little did we know the 'Soy'...
  9. my Mom had Celiac, (AI also runs rampant throughout my family), but I never gave it much thought and then shortly after turning 60, everything just went downhill. My energy tanked, I was not digesting much of anything, lost weight and then a few months ago I broke out in rash/hives/scabs, which in hindsight, looked exactly like that DH. And that lead me to...
  10. omg, I'm at the same point in this journey as you are, and experiencing the same thing. And have spent hours/days on the GFS website and you tube, it's been extremely helpful. "With the link below, I bet some people take even longer. I literally feel surges in my body where it feels like I am purging and dumping what I thought was gluten, but now I...
  11. this is so enlightening, thank you!! I was fearful of niacin, yet once I overcame that fear, the results were/are amazing! I feel so much 'lighter' not only in my gut, but my mind and overall well being also. I wish someone had recommended this when I was kid 60 yrs ago, lol!
  12. you provide a wealth of incredibly helpful information, and I only joined recently!! Greatly appreciated, thank you so much!!!
  13. I just signed up for this site because this is exactly what happens to me!!! I thought it was my thyroid (and a host of other ailments) Embarrassingly, I think a lot of my issue is due to a mixture of alcohol and gluten. I've given up both and started on both benfotiamine and sulbutiamine (B2 and mag taurate) and it's helped so much!! Sulfites and polyphenols...
