  1. Have you had your thyroid checked? Including antibodies? This could also be the cause.
  2. Hello everyone, Just wondering if anyone else has celiac and Hashimotos? I hear is common. I have my celiac antibodies under control but my Hashimotos antibodies(tpos) have gone up from 95 to 175 so moving in the wrong direction. Has anyone been able to bring thryroid antibodies down? If yes, any tips?. I went dairy free 10 months ago when I was told...
  3. Hi there I was diagnosed 2.5 years ago. Recently had my antibodies checked and they were 7. Lab range normal under 12. Like other have mentioned cross contamination might be the issue. 5. Hi everyone, I have been gluten free for 2.5 years after been diagnosed with celiac disease. More recently I am also dairy free for the last 8 months. 8. Thanks so much. I am too trying all these things. Still trying to figure out what works best. I am sure I suffer from leaky gut. When I eat non organic fruits or vegetables I would get rashes. Thank you. I have been taking iron supplements for over a year now. If I stop taking them my ferritin would drop even more.
  9. No oats here. I react to oats. Thanks for the articles. I tried taking the B complex right after breakfast and it still gave me insomnia. I got tested for b vitamins and was still within normal range. Melatonin did not help. I appreciate your reply. Do you feel better after all these years? Maybe is too soon for me.
  10. Hello, For those of you who have been diagnosed for a while. Do you ever feel like yourself again? I have been gluten-free for 2.5 years now. Antibodies are in normal range but feel like I am getting worse. Tired, fatigued can't sleep, poor concentration. Have exercise intolerance. I take iron and b12 as they are low. Ferritin is always 5 normal range...
  11. I completely undertand. I have found myself in the same situation. I can eat eggs now or dairy as it causes half of my face/head to go numb. Very frustrating. I am ok with rice and potatoes but do not tolerate water melon, peaches, apples or cherries. I am also feeling very nauseous lately after I eat. No idea why. I have been gluten free for 2.5 years...
  12. Thank you. I am in Canada and there are not a lot of options available. Any suggestions? I drink green smoothies which are made with leafy greens but I hear this is not enough for calcium
  13. Thanks . I tried silk coconut milk that made feel sick.
  14. Thanks Miriam. This is exactly how I feel with starches too. What are we supposed to eat then? What do you do for calcium. I cannot tolerate almond milk either or any plant based milk.
  15. Thanks Miriam. I am not giving up nuts as I have to eat something. I also have Hashimotos so I think that's part of the problem too. Thanks for replying. I think I had celiac for 10 years plus and that's is also the issue.
  16. What about cookware? Plastic containers? I had to replace my nonstick cookware and plastic containers to notice improvement. I now use stainless steel only and glass containers. Also utensils. Multivamins or other medications. Lipsticks. And make everyone in the household wash hands after eating gluten. Pretty crazy but is the only approach that works...
  17. Thanks. I also cook half of the vegetables I eat. It took me hundreds of dollars to find a B12 supplement I could handle so I am now on the hunt for a B complex I can tolerate. I feel funny whenever I eat apples, peaches and mangoes so I do not eat those fruits. Thanks again for all the replies. I have been gluten free for over 2 years and still experiencing...
  18. I also experienced joint pain. For me it only went away when I completely changed my diet. 5 to 6 cups of vegetables a day (leafy greens, berries, mushrooms, kale etc. I do green smoothies. Eliminated most processed foods. I also eat lean meat and fish. I am also in Canada and all they tell you is go gluten free. That is not enough. Following a clean...
  19. Is it possible to see a neurologist? They can do an MRI that could find you some answers.
  20. Thanks for the reply. I am already pretty much doing that diet except for I still eat beans/nuts. I do green smoothies and aim for 5 to 6 cups of vegetables a day.
