  1. She said I didn’t have anemia and that my levels were messed up due to low b 12. I am however going to mention this because I did look into that condition and it sounds plausible. Also still think I have possible celiac from the one positive test and it’s just really early. I have a bunch more tests to complete. Tomorrow is my echo. further inf...
  2. They said it was normal. But from what I gathered the doctor performed some in the stomach too. And only took I think 3 from the intestines.
  3. Yeah I had a previous endoscopy but they are going to redo that when I’m healed more from surgery. My gallbladder removal was good, but it was stuck to my stomach apparently and really hard to get out. They said it had years of damage and inflammation to it as well. he will redo bloods and stuff in a few weeks when I am more healed. I mentioned to him t...
  4. So, I got a second opinion about my gallbladder from a different doctor. This time a Gastrointestinal surgeon. He quickly looked at the tests that I had done and was very confused they even did a Hyda scan. He said it was completely and 100 percent unneeded. He said, once I showed I had gallstones on my ultrasound that they should have immediately booked...
  5. I’m looking for a second opinion currently. What makes me more worried is that my PCP hasn’t been checking my Graves’ disease either, and no one else seems to concern that I was genetic tested positive for familial Mediterranean fever when I was pregnant with my son. Either way, I see a different doctor in June as a second opinion and I’m wondering whether...
  6. I ate a lot of gluten, but I wouldn’t say I ate 2 slices of bread every day for 2 weeks.
  7. I am going to make a post about what happened today when I tried to get a second opinion, but basically his office didn’t call or speak with me at all with any information. I called and they told me he basically is sending me off to a general surgeon for my gullbladder and as far as he’s concerned there’s no issue in regards to celiacs disease or any other...
  8. Yeah, that’s what I thought lol but wasn’t sure why they would put benign. Is it doesn’t look like they gave me a Marsh score at all. So it would be 0 by this?
  9. 1. Duodenum, Biopsy: Small bowel mucosa with A. Normal intact villous surface. B. No significant inflammation, no granulomas. 😄 No viral inclusions or other organisms on routinely stained sections. 2. Stomach, Random Biopsies: A. Benign gastric mucosa without diagnostic abnormality. so if I’m reading this righ...
  10. Well hopefully biopsy comes back positive and saves me the trouble of arguing with this doctor. And hopefully they can give me some answers soon. I really appreciate all y’all’s help. Only thing I’m not sure of is when to stop eating gluten since I’m still doing tests I guess. Maybe I talk to them about it next week.
  11. Yes, I am awaiting to have them call me to schedule an appointment. Okay so if it is positive it’s celiac disease and if not then possibly NCGS.
  12. Yes, I def am going to be talking to them about this too. I was reading up on it, is that some kind of precursor to celiacs? would that also cause the DH rash? I’m hoping the biopsy will tel me something new but I just hate waiting. Wait we must though lol
  13. I wonder if that’s possible. I do not have the results back yet but he was very confident it looked normal to my husband. I hope the rash is DH as it would improve the chances for an early diagnosis. I just think he’s not taking this seriously or following a typical diagnosis when I’ve never fit into typical.
  14. Yeah I can still test positive for that if the edg biopsy says negative? That would mean celiacs disease, guess I just wonder why there’s no damage to villi if that’s the case. Still off by him saying looked normal, where maybe microscopic is still showing something. I hate waiting
  15. Yeah this does give me some perspective. I just have always been told I’m crazy or I look too hard into things. But I was the only one who believed there was something wrong with my ear, and lo and behold a cholosteatoma (excuse my spelling) and it made me half deaf. Doctors told my parents I just didn’t want to listen. I got a second opinion when I was 18 ...
  16. I did have lactose intolerant as a kid and my kids do get a little unwell if they drink too much milk. Either constipation or stomach aches
  17. Yeah this is true. Would it be better to start the whole family on gluten after I get them blood tested for it? Would them having positive help my doctor give me an official diagnosis? Or really worth it seeing a different doctor?
  18. Yeah I was doing keto. I only did it for 2 months this year. Last year I did it for seven months and lost 70 pounds. I gave up in February because I was stressed with stuff in my life and my job means I can’t bring a lunch very easily I dunno if this possibly affected the tests as I wasn’t initially seen for celiacs but gull bladder.
  19. Can they use symptoms going away to diagnose? I also was thinking about switching GI to a female dr in the same practice. May I ask why I’d be a threat if I had it? I don’t understand that. Also why would my dpi igg text positive if I didn’t have it? Would also my results be tainted by low carb diet? I was from January to end of February on low carb. I di...
  20. Is it possible that I have the onset of celiacs or maybe it hasn’t been active long enough to cause damage to the intestine? I didn’t have many of the symptoms except thyroid issues until I had my second son. That and severe comstipation when younger. not to mention I am also extremely gassy. When I have the gallbladder attack pain. I feel like a t...
  21. Hi there. Didn’t know what else to really do as talking to my husband I just get the response “I’m not a doctor”, and well I’m feeling frustrated. I had blood tests done for celiacs disease and it wasn’t actually my idea. It was my doctors idea to test for celiacs as well as a b7nch of other things, when the initial appointment was suspected gallbladder issues. I h...
