Thank you Scott, Very interesting and also very true. I'm finding it hard living in a gluten filled household. I've also fount myself twice instinctively trying things without looking (when my kids have passed me a sweet/candy). Both times I was very lucky. I realised almost instantly and checked the pack. Hi all, I've posted before regarding blood tests and endoscopy. On Friday I finally got my results and the Endoscopy confirmed I have coeliac disease. I did have gluten Friday morning before my results, but today (Sunday) I'm still bloated and having stomach issues. I'm fully aware it won't go back to normal straight away, but I'm curious...

Oh right. I was under the impression it would be noticeable from the off with smooth appearance due to the lack of Villi. I have a follow up appointment on the 2nd of Feb where I'll hopefully have a final diagnosis. Thank you for updating me.

I had an endoscopy a few days ago and the consultants report has shown that my Oesophagus, Stomach and Duodenum are all normal. 3 Biopsies have been taken from my Duodenum and I'm now awaiting results. But if everything appears normal via endoscopy, surely this would mean there is no damage and the likelihood of coeliac is very low? Just to add...

Thank you Scott. I called the hospital earlier in the week and they returned the call yesterday. I'm now booked in for the 11th of January. I'll keep to a full gluten diet until the Endoscopy. In fact I'm compiling a gluten list of my favourite places and places I've always wanted to try. Just incase I can't go again. I'm greatful to be able to enjoy possibly... -

Thank you so much, I'm going to keep on gluten just for now as I've been referred to the Circle Group over the NHS so I have a feeling it could happen quickly when it does happen but I'll call on Monday and ask them how much notice I'll get. Hi Christina, Thank you so much for taking the time to reply with such encouraging info. I think I'm still in a bit of denial about it all. I'm 39 and all I eat is gluten. I think I'm that used to stomach pains etc. I've just thought it's a normal part of the day. Not this has been brought to my attention I'm a lot more aware of feeling bloated...

Thank you Scott. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I'm going to ask for the Endoscopy if I can have it, as I've read bloods aren't 100%. I'm also going to call the doctors up today and push for an earlier phone consultation. Thank you again.
