I was just recently diagnosed with Celiacs after spending 14 days in the hospital on 2 separate occasions. I got very sick after eating bananas and I googled: Is there any way that bananas could contain gluten? Response: Bananas have lectin which is similar to gluten and in some celiacs it causes the same reaction as gluten. I cannot eat bananas, lesson...
