  1. I have been taking high doses of thiamine for some time now and seen no improvement at all sadly.
  2. 🤣 yep!! It can be, I'm so fortunate my partner is a chef and has become a bit of a wizard with making gluten free recipies.
  3. Hey @Scott Adams. For me they Just retested my bloods. My doctor did say they may repeat biopsy in the future if necessary (as some symptoms from POTs can be similar to celiac symptoms she just wants to be 100% on what's happening). My bloods came back amazingly improved though and I have no vitamin deficiencies or anything so that's really good news...
  4. Hey everyone! I wanted to say thanks for all the help on here. Today I had some good news that my celiac is almost undetectable!!! Actually turns out most my symptoms have been related to dysautonomia (POTs) and actually I probably wouldn't have realised I had celiac if it wasn't for this. Still in the early stages of learning to manage this but...
  5. Thankyou so so much for your detailed response!! I am eating a lot of meat and veg, avoiding carbs in fear of sibo (this is not a long term diet). I'm eating meals like lamb shoulder braise with lots of carrot and celery and bone broth. I eat a lot of Avocado, dark leafy greens and things. I do eat eggs as they don't seem inflammatory for me. I am not...
  6. Hey I've been taking it about 3 weeks and I've seen some improvement on it. I do not intend to exceed 6 weeks max. All the symptoms I mentioned are things I was struggling with before beginning the herbal treatment. I will take your advice and get back taking vitamins. I have also been trying intermittent fasting to let my gut rest and have noticed...
  7. Hey! So it's been a while since i was celiac diagnosed and I have been very strictly gluten free and low fodmap. Yet I'm still having symptoms of bloating, nausea, awful migraines (they only get better when i vomit lots), swollen tongue and face, a tight feeling in my throat, awful depression and just not feeling myself, dull discomfort in my...
  8. So I have been gluten-free for about 3 months now after being diagnosed. At first it was thought my thyroid was underactive also but that seems to have regulated itself. Also tested for H pylori too and that was negative. I have a swollen tongue, fatigue, depression, bloating and dark fatty stools and infertile (i do expect that to take time). I also...
  9. So i have recently been diagnosed celiac and have been gluten free for just over a month. My thyroid function is also sluggish (I'm assuming due to my damaged gut not pulling in enough nutrients?) And my fertility is also affected, the docs don't seem at all concerned about any of this. I've also been suffering swelling under my chin and every time I mention...
