I appreciate the information, but: celiac disease is not a sensitivity, it's not even an allergy it's an autoimmune disorder. I myself will say yes if resterant staff ask me if its an allergy just so they take it seriously, but I will never say the words its an allergy to anyone because celiac disease is not an allergy. I will normally say I have celiac disease...

I have read this article you posted and yes maybe Classico is still following the 20ppm but how do we really know? I personally don’t want to chance it and will still not eat Classico products, other than their pizza sauce, but if there pizza sauce looses it’s gluten-free claim I will stop eating it as well . I lose trust in companies products when they rem...

The company told me they can’t guarantee that it is gluten-free, with that information I don’t have any plans to buy classical pasta souse products ever again . Plus, it’s also strange that they would have a claim saying it was gluten-free in the ingredients list and then suddenly remove the claim after a repackage, that gives me a red flag. The gluten free ...

I ate the Hawaiian salad at my grandmas place did not consume it before supper so I know that something in the Hawaiian salad bothered me, I did not eat the Hawaiian salad any time before supper. I felt fine all day until supper, nothing could have had gluten in it other than my salad. When I eat at my grandmas she will not use any gluten containing food...

That day I did not eat anything that contained gluten, everything was gluten free or so I thought it was until I ate the Hawaiian salad I made, every thing I used in the salad was certified gluten-free, except for the canned fruit that I used in it and the bag of shaved coconut , at the time I thought that just because no wheat was listed on the ingredients...

If wheat is to be listed when present , then how is it I got sick from my grocery store brand when I last bought their canned fruit? No wheat was listed, just the fruit that was in the can and the juice contained in the can. should I just take a chance and think that all canned fruit is safe because it doesn’t mention wheat unless something bothers m...

I was just thinking the same thing as monki a few days ago: I work at a grocery store and at my work you can buy compostable silverware that is made from wheat protein and some are even made from wheat fibre , they look like wooden utensils but the packaging advertises wheat ingredients, wood is not even an ingredient. We even have plates and bowls...

If a product does not have a gluten free claim on the packaging, then I look it up and if the website says it’s safe then I will eat it, if the company can tell you it’s safe it should be, but like I said before if other celiac people are talking about it bothering them then that’s a red flag and I will avoid the product. If for some reason I can’t find...

For me if it can’t be confirmed gluten free from either the website or a product label I would not eat it. Personally as long as I can confirm it has no gluten in it one way or a nother that’s all I need to know, but if there are other people saying that a product bothers them then that would be a red flag and I would stay away from the product in question.

Most cooking oils should be gluten free but make sure you read the ingredients, if the oil is organic it can often be safer, but do read the ingredients I can’t stress that enough. Gluten can be in places you would least expect . example of something you would least expect to have gluten that I made a post about: (Below my example is a photo o...

I wonder now if it really is gluten free? example: Hershey has a list of stuff that they claim to be gluten free on there website , but nothing on the packaging says gluten free when you look at the products packaging at the store. There are also reviews that say this Hershey product bothered me or this Hershey product didn’t bother me, in regards to things H...

Yes, candy cane ones are what they are asking about. I do not know if they’re safe, nor can I confirm or deny if they are. The Lindt candy cane chocolates have always been something that I’ve heard gluten free debates about some say they are safe others say not safe , The company has not commented regarding them being gluten-free or not.

No idea what got me sick, could’ve been the bacon because sometimes bacon isn’t gluten-free, they usually use harvest bacon, which is normally always gluten-free, but I should have double checked because maybe it wasn’t harvest bacon, could’ve been the seasoning on the turkey, was believed it was all normal spices and my uncle told me that there was no mixe... -
Christmas was fantastic this year I ate safely all day except for when it came to supper at my aunt and uncles. I went over to my aunt and uncles house for supper because it was there turn to host Christmas , for some reason my aunts mom brought her own silverware that we were going to use, my aunts mom brought the silverware in a gluten bread bag, so knowing...

I can how ever tell you about gluten free chocolates that I have tried and the package says they are gluten free, hear is a...
