  1. I don’t have DH from what I have been told by doctors. I don’t get a rash, just itchy problem that have no visible marks on my body . I do have celiac disease, but I only have symptoms when I eat a gluten food or get cross contamination. When I get itchy it’s not a normal itchy because it can sometimes happen randomly even when I never ate a gluten food ...
  2. I agree with trents . You will learn with time and hopefully your family will too. When I was first diagnosed with celiac disease I got a lot of questions about it from family some will except it and try to educate themselves so they can make safe food for you, but don’t be upset if some people don’t understand and don’t want to understand what ...
  3. That is not the product I am talking about or maybe it is an old photo, but either way I’m not going to take my chances because the company says Classico pasta sauce is not gluten free anymore for big bottles. also all the grocery stores in my city no longer have a gluten free claim on the classico packaging now that Classico did a repackaging. ...
  4. I eat 100% gluten free I never intentionally eat gluten foods. I work at a grocery store as a grocery clerk and on days I have handled/ put out bags of gluten flour I noticed a few hours later sometimes when I get home or am on brake being itchy , but no normal gluten problems similar to what I would normally experience if I ate a gluten food. Itching happens...
  5. It’s safer just to make things at home yourself, it can be nice to eat out, but you really gotta trust the restaurant and know that there reliable. Sometimes you can call places or look on their website and they’ll tell you they don’t market on their menu gluten free , but they can make things gluten-free, in any case it’s a matter of trial and error, always...
  6. Your welcome.
  7. They look safe based on the information posted on the website, but I think this website is outdated and not updated because they are using outdated photos Classico products don’t look like the photos on the website any more, the company even emailed me and said they are not gluten free. So I will not be buying there tomato sauces anymore. I wish I could t...
  8. Maybe in American but I’m from Canada and every time I’ve contacted Kraft about stuff they’ve said they can’t guarantee whether it’s gluten-free or not , with the exception of cream cheese, and block form, the Philadelphia, cream cheese, and block form is the only safe thing they told me
  9. There is no gluten free claim on bottles also no warning statement , but other smaller bottles have gluten-free claim that are smaller, example rosemary, pizza, sauces etc from Classico. I am also super sensitive to gluten so any cross contamination present and I will know it’s there. I hope I’m wrong about this but it looks like the smaller bottles hav...
  10. Update: the company got back to me, here’s what they said: Thanks for reaching out. When labeling products, we make every attempt to list other sources of gluten as reported to us by suppliers such as wheat, barley, oats, rye, triticale, kamut, spelt or by their hybridized strains. Unless specified on the label, we don't guarantee that t...
  11. I agree with everyone that says open a gluten free bakery and I agree with Scott Adams you don’t need to learn how gluten foods are made if you will be baking gluten free, gluten free stuff is made different as Scott said, so do what you feel is best, but in my opinion changing to business is a good idea like others have said.
  12. Sorry I meant to say Just an fyi if you buy the hollandaise sauce package make sure you pick the gluten free one, the company also makes a gluten version, so read carefully
  13. Just an fyi if you buy the McCormick hollandaise sauce package make sure to make sure you select the gluten free one, the company also make a gluten version, so read carfuly.
  14. My favourite thing to make at home for breakfast is an English muffin sandwich, it has a gluten free English muffin for the bun , with a gluten free breakfast burger in side and a poached egg inside. It’s all most like McDonald’s egg McMuffin, but homemade and much better. I buy the gluten free English muffins at my local grocery store. Gluten free English muf...
  15. There are lots of gluten free ham options from grimm’s so the 2 I gave links for are not the only ones from the company that are gluten free.

  17. I will also direct you to a different posting that talks about gluten free mouthwash https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/what-brands-of-mouthwash-are-gluten-free-r5944/
  18. I also recommend that you use plain unflavoured to floss or a brand that is certified gluten-free, because there can be gluten in the flavourings I found
  19. Are use Sensodyne toothpaste, and they are gluten-free, there are sensitivity toothpaste, but I can’t comment for any other toothpaste, because this is the brand of specifically used only maybe someone else can comment on other toothpaste Sorry, I meant to say are use Sensodyne toothpaste it is for sensitivity it is gluten-free but I cannot comment a...
  20. I agree with this comment, cross contamination is a big deal, especially if you have celiac disease. No company’s products that you are buying should have cross-contamination to be safe. I don’t take risks and if a company cannot assure me from either contacting them or their website that they are gluten-free, then I will not consume the product, it’s be...
  21. If you want prepared meals this is a good option: they are from the health choice line, they only have 2 gluten free options though, but I highly recommend them, they are good. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.healthychoice.com%2Fsites%2Fg%2Ffiles%2Fqyyrlu206%2Ffiles%2Fimages%2Fproducts%2Flemon-herb-chicken-26822.png&tbnid=ZaMtRHmrwY...
  22. Yes I will update you when they get back to me. FYI the one thing I hate is when companies don’t have a callable number I had to leave an email .
