You mention Kinder Surprise Eggs are gluten free. However, they contain wheat flour.
Per the Ferrero website, Kinder Surprise eggs are gluten free, and do not list wheat or any other gluten containing ingredients. (https://www.ferrero.co.uk/Kinder-Surprise) But, they are not available in the U.S.! The Kinder JOY eggs, which are available stateside and have those little wafer balls in them, do contain wheat. According to the website the small kinder bars are also gluten free. As always everyone should do and eat what they feel comfortable with.
