  1. How to do erythrocyte transketolase test? I mean it's not something that is usually done in standard labs. How to find somebody who does it?
  2. Also, the blood stayed in the fridge for almost a week before testing because we had work-free days in my country in that time. I'm wondering how possible is false positive result in this context.
  3. @Scott Adams Yes, I recently found some article on that: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7697360/ There is nice table with all of the markers and cytokines are also there. I found the lab that checks some cytokines, IL8 and IL1b among others which apparently might be useful with celiacs. Will be doing the test next week.
  4. @knitty kittyVery interesting. Do you have some more anecdotal info on that, or should I just google this?
  5. @Vicrob Have you done endoscopy and biopsy to check how it all looks inside?
  6. Liver enzymes can 100% rise in celiacs where they eat gluten. I'm great example of that myself. ALT would jump to 50-100 when normally it's about 20. It only jumos higher after consuming gluten for some time (For me first time it was raised when I didnt know I was celiac, so I obviously ate lots of gluten, and second time long time later when I unconsciously...
  7. I have but two 3 years after diagnosis, on gluten-free diet.
  8. Personally for example TTG IgA has zero correlation with my symptoms. It's been negative for a long time (even despite eating tiny amounts of gluten, which I know isin't the case for everyone) yet I have still persisting, debilitating symptom (specifically brain fog - and let's just assume it's because of celiac. I'm tired of people suggesting alternative...
  9. Permanent damange? Jesus I have this for 1,5 years now. 💀 Do you think I can take injections WITH Allithiamine? Is it too much?
  10. @knitty kitty Also do you think is it ok to take B1 in isolation or it's better to find B complex with TTFD?
  11. @knitty kitty So instead of Thiamine Hydrochloride injections it's better to take Allithiamine from supplements? But you mentioned earlier that injections are also the way to go? What is it then?
  12. Lots of useful info, thanks @knitty kitty. It looks like Erythrocyte Transketolase test is not widely available though.
