  1. @knitty kittyExtra strength multivitamin, B complex, magnesium, Vitamin D, vitamin C and electrolytes first thing in the AM and in the evening. Blood work was always full pannel. Only thing off thats reoccurring in my blood work is that my b12 level is always sitting around 750-830 and has not moved from prior to diagnosis to now.
  2. Hey there @knitty kitty! I am very into health/fitness so I always made sure I was supplementing everything correctly even prior to diagnosis. Thats why I figured I would poke around on the forum with my question because to me it doesn't really make sense LOL. You’d think that eating clean and going gluten free would cause less colds and illnesses. I have b...
  3. @trents I do take all the recommended vitamins and excersize regularly. Basically do all things labeled as a healthy lifestyle haha. Thats why I was thinking more this is my immune system now having the energy to fight viruses rather than being too stressed out as I have heard that it is a common thing when your body is over stressed due to underlying autoimmune...
  4. Hey there @trents. I wish I could edit my original post. I am talking about getting a cold way more often, not gluten poisoning.
  5. Hi there @Sanna King! I am talking about contracting colds/flu, not gluten reactions. Sorry if I did not make that clear. My stomach symptoms have improved vastly since changing my diet. But I contract colds way more often than I ever had before.
  6. Hello everyone, I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing as me. Literally ever since I went 100% gluten free and started eating the cleanest I have ever ate in my life, I get sick WAY more often than I ever did prior to my diagnosis and being gluten free. I almost dont rememebr ever getting sick before. Now the last 3 ish years I have been...
  7. Hello, I’ve been gluten free for over a year now. I now know and understand that I have been celiac my whole life and my body has been battling without me knowing. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else after diagnosis but I feel like my immune is system is stuck fighting. My mouth is always tingling, I always see stars in my vision, my heart i...
  8. Thanks for the info @knitty kitty! I really appreciate when people recommend things for me to try, it helps a lot! I will run this stuff by my doctor at my next appointment next week. It is also good to know I am not alone with the continued reactions though. It has been pretty difficult for me and has taken a bit of a toll on my mental...
  9. Hey there @knitty kitty! Thanks for checking in. Things are not really going as planned for myself unfortunately. As much as I feel better than I did while eating gluten, I still seem to be reacting to trace amounts of gluten in gluten free foods. I constantly break out in rashes or hives after eating. My dermatitis is constantly flaring up. I take...
  10. Well, currently making my way through my first gluten reaction after being gluten free after my ednoscopy for about 2 and a half months. Mustve been some cross contamination in the food at the wedding I was at. Usually takes about 1-2 days for the reaction to reach its peak. Then the nausea gets pretty bad and end up having to take multiple trips to the...
  11. Does anyone else get muscle soreness and joint pain after eating popcorn? I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time it happened but I tested it out this past weekend and the day after it felt like I had the workout of a life time lol. No stomach pain or bloating, just the muscle soreness and joint pain. Anyone experience anything like this?
  12. @Tjweston I second @trents caution about going gluten free prior to getting tested! Unfortunately to get the endoscopy to get the diagnosis for celiac disease, it took a full year from when I tested positive on the blood work for celiac to get in for the procedure. I went gluten free when I found out through the blood work I was potentially celiac as I...
  13. @Ginger38Yes, defenitely do some research to see if higher fat diet is suitable for you! If you have a history of high cholesterol I would talk to your doctor or health care provider prior to making any drastic changes. But for the beef, I keep it super simple and to me it is delicious! As I said prior, I cook my meat in some butter. Then as soon as I...
  14. @Ginger38 well since I am pretty new to this I have been experimenting with different ways of eating to see what makes me feel best. Over the past couple days I have been eating very similar to a carnivore type style diet and it has been working fantastic for me! So I am getting majority of my fats in a day from eggs and beef (although I always buy extra...
  15. Hey @Ginger38! I tried out what @Scott Adams mentioned about adding some healthy fats in and its a huge help! Feel much better and I don't have that constant hunger feeling nearly as much. But I agree, the constant hunger is frustrating! Especially after you just ate a good sized meal!
