  1. my doctor prescribes the vile and syringes, I thought that was how it was typically handled. I had trouble drawing up the vile myself also and now the pharmacist just does it for me. It seems odd that you have to figure this out on your own, definitely go back into your doctor and figure out exactly what is expected!
  2. yes, i was on it earlier in my pregnancy and it was fine!
  3. Each pregnancy is different....you're 11 weeks along and feeling terrible because you're pregnant I'm 16 weeks now and through 14 weeks it was the WORST.....it'll subside, just keep eating healthy and fight through it, in a few more weeks you'll feel as good as new!
  4. I definitely don't think you should embellish, nor ask for something free in return....quite frankly, you're less likely to get something for free if you ask for it, especially if you aren't telling the whole truth. Please do not listen to the advice of the person who told you to do this. Next time, definitely reach out to management prior to your visit...
  5. They're all educated about food allergies and what products they have before they start on the job. You might've been the first person this season to ask them about it but nonetheless, they shouldn't have been doing anything that made you feel uncomfortable. I'm glad you didn't get sick, I would've been very surprised if you did. Please don't let that one...
  6. That's very odd. I eat there weekly and I've never had this experience. I've forwarded your post to the appropriate people.
  7. It's frustrating because now with the Domino's thing, my friends are all texting and sending me the link and getting all excited, which I love....but when I tell them that it isn't safe for me I get the "oh there's the debby downer" or "oh yea, I'd forgotten how picky you are, even with gluten free stuff".... neat!
  8. sour apple jolly ranchers. trust a girl in her second trimester who was massively sick in her first, they work
  9. Typically they're not ever rude or unhelpful, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. The Park just opened for the summer, so they're training some new folks and maybe they're overwhelmed...which is no excuse however. I love the chicken tenders and the gluten free pizza, Minetown Restaurant is one of the better places to sit and eat and relax. Boardwalk...
  10. You can trust the food at Hersheypark. They have seperate spaces for the gluten free food. It takes a little longer because they make it when its ordered but it's worth it. If you have more questions, send me a personal message. I prefer not to post a lot of my personal stuff on this board but I'm 100% that you can trust it based on my experience. Also...
  11. I kept throwing the prep up, i couldn't take it at all. I had to go buy magnesium citrate and put it in a glass with ice and drink that which worked.
  12. drop the green tea immediately. those also caused kidney stones for me, the doc said that was the likely culprit!
  13. hahah seriously! I don't understand why everyone's explaination, including the creator of the ad, is still wrong in your mind....or why you even care so much to begin with. Time to let it go!!
  14. Yikes....I didn't realize this was being taken so seriously!
  15. I guess my "mundane explanation" was correct.
  16. You're silly. It absolutely can be red hair, the sun is shining on the one side of her body and the other is in the shade, based on the color of the skin on her hand it looks tan, not "dark". As a red head, I assure you that our hair color looks different in the sun than it does in the shade!
  17. I'm still bitter about Twizzlers.
  18. it's a red heads ponytail! hahaha sheesh people
  19. I worry about coffee because it sends me to the bathroom with gluten or without it
  20. I think the Subway thing is dead in the water. I have a relationship through my work with a few local franchisee's and they said that no one feels comfortable enough to try it because the risk of CC is so high, it'd almost be impossible to avoid.
  21. Thank you for teaching me something new about Passover. I love learning new things about religions!
  22. I can't eat Udi's at all...it gives me and my husband really bad D and my husband is a non-celiac. There's something about the way they make it (perhaps excess Xanathan Gum) that acts like a laxative to me and I can't deal with it.
  23. Well I'm sorry....but my rotisserie chickens at Giant do not say that, which is why I was asking! Maybe they've changed things, but I'm looking at one directly in front of me as we speak. People question things because a lot of people make claims on this board with no proof and a lot of the times, the information isn't correct, hence, my asking where...
  24. Can you show some proof that the Giant rotisserie's aren't gluten free? I eat them all the time and have no problems...the ingrediants don't lead me to believe that they're not.
  25. When I first started taking my prenatals (2 months before becoming pregnant), they made me throw up a few times and feel dizzy. My dr just said that your body takes a few days to get used to it and NEVER take them on an empty stomach. Now I'm throwing up for all the right reasons
