    Hello all.........wondering if anyone knows of a gluten free bloody mary mix-that's decent. Going to a football game and I'm in charge of bringing the fix'ins for bloody marys. I searched the internet and found Mr & Mrs T's is NOT gluten free but reading the ingredients I don't see what's "bad" Any help is appreciated as always. Pam

    Hello..........I was just introduced to these granola/fruit bars called Lara bars. I live in Illinois and found them at my Jewel store and they are good. The other thing you might want to check into making yourself is homemade snack mix. I make mine with Chex cereal (the new gluten free one) and add chocolate chips, banana chips, crainsins, dried apples...

    Just a quick note to let anyone know that I purchased Grilled Chicken Strips from Foster Farms via Costco, they are pre cooked too.............They ARE gluten free. I called them today 800-255-7227 and verified and they are good too. Have a good day! Pam

    I had some BBQ pork in the freezer and decided to make it tonight for dinner, realizing I better call and check to make sure it's gluten free, (I'm still under a year with being diagnosed Celiac)I got the plant manager and he knew exactly what I was asking........the answer is YES, their sauce is gluten free and so is the BBQ pulled pork. I know Sam's club...

    I know people say that you should get new pot and pans and utensils..........but my personal opinion is if you have a dish washer or wash it hot soapy water you should be OK, but I don't know that you could really know if all the "old" gluten containing stuff is out.     If you have a Costco near you their Rotissare Chicken's are gluten free. Glad you found out what the problem was, I did the same thing shortly after being diagnosed-I was buying the chicken's from Sam's Club and they are not gluten free. Pam

    Just wanted to save anyone interested in cooking a Corned Beef, I called Cook's this morning and their Corned Beef's ARE gluten free, they will not hide any gluten ingredients............. Have a Good Day! Pam

    Thank you also........I "kind of" thought remembering reading that mustard flour is ground up mustard seeds but the word flour did raise a red flag.

    OK, I'm confused here,,,,,,,,,I have a bottle of honey mustard and the one ingredient that I don't know anything about is mustard flour. Is this a BAD ingredient? The other bottle says mustard seeds...........I know I could try and contact the company but I thought someone here would have a quick answer. Thanks Pam

    Hello.......I just called Hormel this past week and they don not hind any ingredients in their food, the chli with beans is gluten free as well as the Velveeta cheese and salsa bowls-just microwave and use some corn chips. Another good one is to take a piece of gluten-free ham spread cream cheese on it and roll pickle up, slice into 1/2" and stick toothpicks...

    At my Dr's visit 2 months ago he suggested I start taking Probotics as he said Celiac's have more bad bacteria than the "average" person...........so he told me to take Florastor twice a day once in the am and once in the pm. I then got sick and needed an antibotic and have never heard of a time period to take the probotic. I still take the probotic everyday...

    Hi all..........I actually just called Kraft this past week and they told me they do not hide any allergy ingredient in any of their food. I asked about Valveta and they told me it did NOT contain any gluten and then I asked about the Valveta's bowls (chili and salsa is one of them) and they also do NOT contain gluten, a good snack with scoops........     Hi there, I just read your posting and we just got home from Vail last Sunday, I was worried about eating the cafe foods as well........ what I did is wore a fanny pack and took Dinty Moore beef stew (their a little salty, but for 3 days it worked) and popped it in the mico wave, if there's no microwave out for you to use, you could ask the staff (I had to...

    Just an FYI..........Kozy Shack rice and tapicoa puddings are gluten free, even says it on the label.

    Hi there, take a deep breath............it does get easier. I've only been diagnosed since July of '07 and I was feeling the same as you sound and I'm an adult. One big positive is that I've read that Disney does have places that offer gluten free meals............Mac Donald's french fries are ok........they cook them in their own oil, not with the other...

    New Grist, Bard's Tale and Red Bridge are all gluten free. All Vodka's are safe because they are filtered.....some people say no but everything I've read says the filtering process elimintes any protiens. Try and Vodka and Cranberry or fruit juice........I drink the Bard's Tale (dragon's gold in on the label). The liquor store in IL carry's it but not...

    I'm going away this Thursday for 3 nights and wanted to bring something for me to eat at lunch time or if stuck on the airplane, so I bought the Lemon Pepper of both Starkist in the pop off lid and Bumble Bee pouch of tuna, they are both gluten free according to both of their web sites. Might be a good throw in your purse for anyone traveling..........Take...
