  1. That's the problem with being sensitive to more than just gluten. I mean, anything is "safe" unless youre sensitive to it... and you can be sensitive to everything. It's a never ending project for me, trying to figure out all that bothers me.
  2. thank you so much for your reply. I just can't believe how frustrating this is ... all I want is to feel better and live a some-what normal life.. whatever that is .. I have those red bumps they don't like like acne they look like an allergic reaction to something ... like ya said we know more about our body then any doctor would .. thanks again!

  3. Really??? Whoa, cool! I think how long we live probably depends on how gluten effects us. I came close to death when I was younger because my gum/skin lesions got horribly infected and my immune system just collapsed basically. The infection spread to my blood and I ended up delerious with 105 degree fever. It was really scary, I barely even remember some...
  4. Well, if you are having an autoimmune reaction then yes, there is damage happening to your body somewhere. The autoimmune system attacking your own body IS the reaction. So yes. I wouldn't eat butter either. I tried and still had a reaction to it. To me, dairy is dairy.
  5. I know my body very well and I HAVE been glutened from Doritos, Cheetos, and plain Lays potato chips. I don't think it's the msg, although that is very bad for you too, because I've had msg other times and not been glutened from it. I won't eat any of these types of chips anymore, as I'm interested in healing my body but putting chemical filled artificial...
  6. Yeah but if it was them being canned that was the problem I would think all canned stuff would do that. I use canned refried beans and black beans and veggies all with no problems. I'll try it with white beans, thanks!
  7. Every other bean (that Ive tried) seems to be fine. I don't think its the brand of hummus because the same thing has happened with canned chickpeas (both organic, inorganic, and from salad bars). I don't have a clue how they could be getting contaminated with gluten all those times. It must be just another sensitivity. Anyone tried hummus made with white...
  8. Well I'm finally facing the fact that sadly, chickpeas are off the list. No matter what, I get sick, drained, HORRIBLE feeling when I eat them. I have no idea why and I tried to deny it for the longest time as I'm gluten free and vegetarian and there is so little I can eat. Chickpeas were a big staple food for me in the past, but I started noticing...
  9. Hmm. It doesn't say if its derived from soy or wheat. Its a product from the dollar store, I don't even know if the company is in existence anymore as I googled the name and nothing came up but some other unrelated company. I guess I'll continue to use it and see what happens. Thanks!
  10. I read some posts on here that people were having reactions to vitamin E? Why? I did some googling but couldn't find anything. I just purchased a vitamin E oil thats amazing. It has safflower oil, grapeseed oil, and vitamin E. I havent had any negative reactions to it, in fact its really been helping with the fine lines under my eyes. Should I not...
