  1. Thanks for this; it makes me feel better. I had Indian food last night, which is usually not a problem. I've been gluten-free for 6 years and have never thrown up, but I did last night after feeling very nauseated.   2. Thanks, Lynayah. This is very helpful. I think I will do as you do, looking for the GIG label and asking about the ppm in future! I usually avoid processed food too, as it often ends in disaster (and I have to throw out expensive products...)
  3. I don't have a problem with garlic, but I have a huge problem with onions (raw especially, but cooked also). However, I can eat cooked shallots. I put cooked shallots in many of the dishes I cook and they rarely bother me - they are a milder member of the onion family. I don't know if leeks are considered mild or not, but they started giving me a problem...
