I just noticed something...I'm on my husband's laptop and I have celiac.com on the favorites so I don't have to remember my user and pass. when I got on here, I noticed that the name and email is different from the new one on my computer. Is this normal?!
It's my old name, avatar, # of posts...everything!!

Kind of like an "R" rated chocolate chip mint?
The Curiously Strong Adult Rated Minty Ice Cream

Ohhh, that shouldn't be hard at all. They have ice cream all the time with candies, cookies, etc. chopped up in them. Just a good basic ice cream, crush up the altoids or run them through the food processer, and mix them in.

Wow that sounds really good. Should be a hit with the men!
I'm BAAAAADDDDD!

And more on histamine, from Open Original Shared Link
Many Foods Contain Histamine Or Cause The Body To Release Histamine
Histamine is a natural substance produced by the body and is also present in many foods. It is released by the body during times of stress and allergy.
In an allergic response, an allergen stimulates the release of antibodies, which attach themselves to mast cells. When histamine is released from the mast cells it may cause one or more of the following symptoms:
• Eyes to itch, burn, or become watery
• Nose to itch, sneeze, and produce more mucus
• Skin to itch, develop rashes or hives
• Sinuses to become congested and cause headaches
• Lungs to wheeze or have spasms
• Stomach to experience cramps and diarrhea
This chemical (vasoactive amine) is able to create such havoc with the many body functions because it is contained in almost all body tissues. The main body tissues include the lungs, skin, intestinal mucosa, mast cells, and basophils.
The release of histamine can be induced by almost any allergen.
Examples include inhalant allergens, drugs, chemicals, insect venoms, and even some foods.
Histamine in Foods
There are many foods that contain histamine or cause the body to release histamine when ingested. Histamine in food may be responsible for some cases of food intolerance.

Histamine Releasing Foods Include:
Histamine Poisoning
At times the ingestion of high concentrations of histamine may lead to histamine poisoning. It is also known as Scombroid Poisoning. High levels of histamine occur in spoilage of foods such as fish products.
WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO EAT!!!!! JEEZ! I don't think I could do that if I wanted to. I'm a total carnivore and cheese hound.

Wow Vincent!! I'm so glad that he's ok! He's such a beautiful little boy. I just love all those red curls.
You two are truly wonderful parents.

Kaiti,
I live in Gambrills, MD and am a coordinator for the Anne Arundel County Celiac Support Group that meets in Annapolis. What part of MD do you live in?
Pat
Gambrills is just around the corner from me!! YAY I know of someone out here! I've seen ads for the support group but haven't joined yet. Is there anything you can tell me about it?

I am absolutely in love with Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey. Just the thought of it brings on the drool!
I think my husband wants to take out stock in their company. Also Blue Bunny is good. I'm a vanilla type person so I don't try too many of the different flavors they have.

I have it and I liked it a lot. I also have the other one she wrote..Against the Grain. There's a lot of information in there. I haven't read anything else as far as celiac disease goes, but I didn't know what to buy then either.

I had my first colonoscopy when I was 28 and they cut out 2 small polyps. I'm scheduled to have another next year, and I'm wondering if they will find anymore. It runs in my dad's side of the family.

It seems that I stay dehydrated all the time. I can go into the ER and get an IV and about a day after that, BOOM...dehydration again. I drink water all the time. If I have a drink of alcohol or Dr. Pepper, it's all downhill from there.

I tried googling it but didn't find anything...any biochemical engineers out there?
I know I read in cosmo once (very scientific
) that what a man eats affects the flavor of the...stuff. So maybe gluten can get in?
I agree Chelsea..I read it a few years ago, but it was in a book ( Generation S&x) by Dr. Judy. She said that women and men alike are literally what they eat.

The sound track to the Sopranos
And the latest C D (they are out on a USA tour, just back from Europe) of my brothers rock'n'roll band.

I absolutely LOOOOOVE Chipotle. Their barbacoa burrito bowls are things that dreams are made of. If you haven't eaten there and like good "authentic" Mexican food, I highly recommend it. It's cool, too because you can go to their online website and make your order and you don't have to wait in line. I haven't tried Macaroni Grill yet, but then again, I haven't seen one here yet.

THANK YOU celiac3270!!!! I sent mine to the e-mail address you provided so I'm thanking you in advance. Have an awesome day!

I've had problem with it lately. A lot of bone pain and some cramping. My DH used it yesterday by mistake and I've really been the slug since. I switched to Kinnikinnick, but my husband decided to make me waffles for breakfast and forgot that the "good" stuff was in the freezer.

Last night for dinner I had a 2 inch thick NY Stirp steak that I bought from Safeway. It was a Rancher's Reserve and I have to tell you...it was the best steak i have had since leaving Texas. It was purfect, before and after it was grilled. I haven't had any problems with their meat since we've been in Maryland. (That would be a year, and we didn't have a Safeway in Oklahoma) Makes me want another steak just thinking about it...

I've also heard that M&M's are gluten-free. I eat about a bag a day and I have had no ill effects. Also I wanted to add that there is a new M&M. It's to promote the Pirates of the Carribbean movie and they're white chocolate M&M's. OMG they're heavenly!!! They only come out in the Large bag, but BOY are they worth it!
