  1. I too found that heat helps. I have a wrap that has inserts you can place in the microwave. It is great. I also have found that if I can stand getting out of bed, putting my feet in a warm foot bath helps. Your feet affect so many parts of your body, maybe that is why. I also use lavander and vanilla essential oils to calm me down. I am always overwhelmed and angry when I get glutened! Here is a link to, what I have found, are the safest essential oils, if that might help you:

    Alexis, Deputy Home Editor

Special publication catering to those with food allergies and sensitivities that would include recipes

Big Idea: To publish a special magazine that offers delicious allergy-friendly recipes, making life for people with food allergies and sensitivities easier and more delicious. Millions of people, including myself, can't eat nuts, dairy, wheat or gluten, and I

  3. First of all, I was diagnosed about six months ago with Celiac (bloodwork and biopsy) and have been reading information in this forum almost everyday. It is wonderful! However, I just joined and started posting today and I am not sure what i am doing, lol. Anway, my question has to do with going Organic. I was diagnosed with celiac last summer and while some of my symptoms went away, I still have nausea everyday. Now, I only eat gluten free and have tried my best to use gluten free beauty and bath products. I recently began eating casein, lactose and dairy free as well. Still no luck. I do notice however that sometimes companies aren't exactly sure what gluten is, or the ingredient list is vague, or there are crazy dyes and preservatives. Could those be making me sick? And, if so, do I switch to only organic foods and products? I have already begun buying organic food and soap, but it is getting really expensive and I don't know where to draw the line. I want to feel better, but my family thinks I am going too far, am I? I feel like I am becoming obsessive, but I am sick of being sick? Can anyone help?

  4. My huband and I don't drink, but I wanted something special for Valentine's Day. On our honeymoon we always shared Shirley Temples or "Kiddie Cocktails." This drink can be made many different ways, but the most popular is with Grenedine and Ginger Ale, garnished with a cherry. I have found Blue Sky Organic Ginger Ale and Monin Organic Rasberry Syrup or regular Monin Grenedine (I spoke with Monin this afternoon and via a phone conversation ALL of the Monin Products are Gluten Free.

BELOW is an e-mail from Blue Sky confirming that their products are gluten-free.

    Dear Sirs,

I would like to know if your products our 100% Gluten free. I have Celiac Disease, so I am extremely sensitive to any amount of gluten derived from wheat, barley, oats or rye in a product. If the product does not contain any gluten ingredients, has it been processed on equipment containing gluten? Also, gluten can hide in flavorings, salt, sugar, and colorings, is there any possibility that any of your products could contain gluten in this way? Thank you so much for your help!

    Thank you,

    Emily
