I would eliminate all of the usual suspects (on top of gluten) for a week and see: Dairy, Soy, Corn, Eggs, Peanuts, Yeast, Legumes-beans, Nightshades and Citrus
Eat a simple diet of: plain meats with spices, salt, veggies, fruit and nuts if you tolerate them.
If all better, then reintroduce those suspects one at a time. Wait a few days between challenges as some reactions can be delayed up to 72 hours.
Good luck!

It will back up LESS!
Once a week....STOP!!!!....that is a co-dependent relationship....You shouldnt need to see a practitioner more than once a month at most. She is out for $$$ if she is the one having you come back weekly. Now if YOU are the one asking to come back weekly....then you cannot blame her. This is just my opinion. Of course do what feels best for you.
The cleanse will help your C. No worries.
Best of luck with it and keep us posted!

Priobiotics are good for all of us. Just make sure they are gluten-free. It isnt a bad idea to do a parasite cleanse. Your naturapath doesnt offer this? That would be odd. A lot of peeps on here like Humaworm, but they arent shipping right now. You could try Renew Life Paragon. It is gentle.

This experience has been great for my 12 y.o. daughter, because it has taught her to be so much more aware of ingredients and what she is putting into her body. I maintain a gluten-free house. My DH and DD can eat gluten foods outside only. And the other day, DD said, "Mom, I have to drink my blueberry tea on the porch because I read it and it has barley extract". She was looking out for me. I was so proud.
So even if everyone else doesnt get it.....the people I love the most do.

Some rice milks arent gluten free even if they say so. Look for "Barley Malt" and call if you have too. I forget which one is NOT gluten-free because I dont drink rice milk.

Intestinew is good.

Here is a tip:
Make sure everything you put in your baking recipe is at room temperature. Leave the eggs and milk out till they are room temp. Because if you put the oil in with "Cold" ingredients, it will clump up and not mix smoothly. Then when you bake, those little clumps melt and you get little oil pockets (most of it seeps out).

How wonderful for you. It actually made me tear up. I am trying to "fill out" again. I am 39 though and I dont think I will get taller, but I so want to "look like a woman" again. Soooo happy for you.

No.
You need to find someone to take over your duties there. Way too much CC....Way too much!
I say this in fun. You could sell that one and open a "Gluten Free" bakery.

And there is a good helping of that as well....

I mentioned early on that patients had died under his care. But got ignored.
It pays to research things thoroughly. I also mentioned on another thread that although I think Mercola has some good info on his site, I read everything with a cocked eye because he "SELLS PRODUCTS" that go hand in hand with a lot of his "research" and some of his "guest speakers". I see a major conflict of interests........

To quote a country song...."Yeah I've been there. That's why I'm here."
***hugs*** right back.

I just got a book on Breast Cancer and lo and behold. Thyroid medications can shrink cysts and tumors. So maybe there is something to my line of thinking. I didnt watch the whole video. Hopefully he doesnt say or even "imply" that ALL are fungal. That would really blow a hole in his credibility IMO. There is so much we just dont understand. I firmly believe that some cancers are completely psychologically induced. Maybe we hate our breasts. We hate being a woman. We resent having babies that take up all of our time and leave little time for ourselves. Maybe we were sexually abused and learn to find our female parts repugnant and a source of pain. So on some deep level we create illness there. Day in and day out we send negative messages to those female organs. Then we get Breast Cancer or Ovarian cancer and get those "nasty" organs removed........
I think in ALL disease, you have to have an open mind about MANY different causes. I dont think "fungal" fits the cancers in my family and therefore I dont buy it so to speak. That doesnt mean that I couldnt be convinced that "some" cancers have a fungal cause. Like I said in the beginning of this thread. One of the ways the body deals with an "invader" is to surround it and make a protective "tumor" around whatever the irritant is. Sometimes there is just too much "irritant" and the body fills with tumors and is unable to keep up...and then the person dies.

Like you guys...I am skinny. I went through some horrible bloating for a few weeks after going gluten-free. One night I almost went to the ER. I looked 6 months pregnant. And it hurt and I couldnt breath easily. Gas Ex hardly touched it.
Anyway....I have been taking Intestive, PepZin GI, Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes and NO MORE BLOATING!! I am so relieved. So very relieved. Thought I would share this.

You might try the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) as well. Follow their guidelines:
Open Original Shared Link
It started as a diet that was easy to digest for autistic children. But it works VERY WELL for adults too with a sensitive digestive tract. I am on it and have felt improvements. I added back in some seeds tho and am doing fine.

Wouldnt hurt to do "Renew Life" Paragone. You can do Humaworm another time. Supposedly we need to do them a few times a year. Humaworm yielded nothing in the toilet for me.....I was hopeful......

You could try steaming the veggies and then whirling them in the blender to make a soup. Take digestive enzymes with your meals as well. And the probiotics can only help.

It is the answer that might be rude.
I didnt have many GI symptoms before gluten-free. I am mostly neuro. But after I cut it out, I had horrible gas/pains and found myself in the bathroom waaaaaay too much. I was also extremely tired (not normal for me). Moody and irritated for a few weeks. Snappy (also not normal for me) and starving no matter what I ate. It wasnt pretty. But it calmed down after a few weeks and I am still getting better as the days go by.........

Soy and Dairy....they are the nail in the tire for most of us. I would cut them out for now.
-
No that is NOT a balanced diet.
You need some VEGGIES....lots of green leafy kind. You are not getting hardly ANY iron or B12. And you are mostly eating carbs/sugars. Not good.
You need to add in some other meats, eggs, nuts plus VEGGIES. Eat the lower sugar fruits like blueberries.
Get on a good multiple because just taking a random few suppliments (i.e. Cal/Mag) can throw other nutrients out of balance. Nutrients taken in supplement form MUST be balanced. For instance for the Cal/Mag to work and not actually make matters worse, you also need Vitamin D, Vitamin K and Boron. You arent getting ANY of those in your restricted diet.

YES!! I felt worse before better. Think of it this way....anytime you injure your body.....healing can be painful. You stub your toe and it is more sensitive an sore 2 days later. You cut yourself and it hurts while it is healing. Burns are very painful while healing. Your body is healing. So this isnt a bad sign and try not to let yourself think it is. Give it some time....you will feel better!

I will add that my Sister was just Dx breast cancer in February. She was on Synthroid (which was not working for her). I finally convinced her to get her Doctor to switch her to Armour a few weeks after her Dx. She opted for double mastectomy. No radiation and no chemo. It will be interesting to see if she ever gets a recurrence. Of course I am praying not.
Maybe I will be writing a book someday.......

Guests brought Semolina to our house when I said please just bring yourselves or if you must some wine. They thought Semolina was gluten free.

The muffins are excellent! We like blueberry the best. I also have a recipe in one of the cookbooks for "Pound Cake".....and it is sooooo close to the real deal. I could eat a whole loaf in one sitting. But I force myself to one slice.
Everyone else gets to pass worms. I never do. I finally broke down and got the Humaworm took it for 6 weeks. Nothing other than reflux. SCD didnt produce any squigglers either. So either I never had any. Need new glasses to see them. Or they are just tough little buggers in there hanging on for dear life.
I did the SCD strictly for a good month. I am a little more relaxed now including Hemp and Chia. No issues with them. I also get a trace amount of inulin.
What is really seeming to heal me is Intestive (by Seacure), Pepzin GI and probiotics. My BM's are actually "formed" for the first time in my life. Just going gluten-free didnt do this. SCD didnt do it either. But 10 days in with these products and waaaalaaaaa!!
Question About Breastfeeding And Honey

I have never heard this either and I have a Phd in Holistic Nutrition.
Now some might read that putting raw honey on sore nipples can ease the pain and help them heal faster. So dont do this and then let the baby nurse. This is just common sense though.
I found letting my nipples get air everyday helped with the soreness that you get in the first few weeks. Just walked around the house topless for 2 weeks.....LOL Hubby didnt mind.
