Adding sea salt to my drinking water cured my low BP. I add a couple of pinches to a liter.

I went into an Indian market about a week ago and everything in there said "produced in a facility with wheat". Everything!! So I left.

And basically he is IgA deficient making all of those IgA tests useless.

If you are just looking for inexpensive carbs then you can choose: beans, sweet potatoes, corn, potatoes, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, pumpkin (think produce section)

Not sure about gluten but it is chock full of MSG so it would make me sick.

This recipe reminded me of my Grammy's rum balls. So now I am to find gluten free vanilla wafers and make some rum balls. Yummy!!!
I know I can get gluten free ginger snaps. Those might make really good rum balls.
I love to experiment!!

Low Ferritin (iron stores) can cause hairloss. I have read they need to be at least to 40 before hair starts growing back. Have you had that tested?

I just ordered these:
Open Original Shared Link
Will report back once I get them if they taste good.

I tried this. But I dont do eggs, so substituted out. I also dont do cane sugar, so I used some maple sugar and xylitol. I added A LOT more rum to the glaze. It tastes amazing, but it didnt rise very much. Very moist and spicy. Will be great for winter.

I saw a recipe for cocunut banana ice cream somewhere. But I just figured I would freeze the bananas and put them in my Vita-Mix with full fat cocunut milk with a little vanilla extract, pinch of salt and some stevia if needs more sweetness. Just a touch of stevia so it isnt bitter. And considered adding pineapple to it. Pina Colada ice cream. Yummy!!

Seems like a pretty even split between O's and A's which make up most of the population. So I dont see a specific connection to type O.

Are you able to know when you have been glutened? If so, and you have not reacted to the store bought ones, then these may be fine as well. All fruits and veggies should get a good washing anyway.

I use Tapioca and Arrowroot powder interchangably

Years ago I had a filling. My last one before I had all of the mercury removed. Anyway, it took 3 injections and I still felt it. So when I had the mercury removed, I didnt take the injections. Yes, it hurt, but not that bad.

I never really had a "fear" of the dentist until this past year. I actually used to enjoy cleanings. Anytime I can lay there for 45 minutes and close my eyes and do nothing is relaxing to me. And I dont have "pain" issues.
But I am worried now what they will do and find. But I will go to the "good dentist" once I get the PPO in the fall.

All molars filled by the time I was 20. But since that....no cavities or problems until last year when I accidentally bit down on my fork while eating. I bit hard. It hurt soooo bad and the tooth that took the most of it was "loose". So I went to the dentist the next morning. He said it would tighten back up just fine and not to worry about it. But after two weeks it was still loose as a goose, so I went back to the dentist. This time, he checks my bite and says he sees the problem and proceeds to "file" down one of my teeth. Well every since he did that my bite has been off and my teeth have moved. I am just not comfortable in my mouth for a whole year. I can visibly see that they have moved and my bite is different. The tooth did tighten up, but now there is much more space between my teeth. The floss goes in without any resistance.
I have not been back because I am terrified of what he might do next. Discovered he should have splinted the teeth. But he didnt. And he was a jerk. I told him I had vertigo and could he pleas tell me if he was going to adjust the chair. He moved it up and down like a mad man even tho I kept sitting up and telling him it made me dizzy. And his filing that tooth changed my bite and I have no confidence in him.
We have HMO dental and I called down the list by no one but him uses digital x-rays. So I am waiting till September when Hubby can choose PPO dental and I can go to a dentist I want to go to. I have one I used years ago and liked and he is very mercury conscience and uses digital x-rays and such.

I really cannot understand why someone would want to take a drug to be able to eat a food that they do not need. It is like you are trying to "outsmart" your body. When clearly your body knows what is best for you: gluten free diet.
The only usefulness I can see is that you could take it in situations where you have no control over CC. Eating out, dinner parties, etc. But still not eating obvious gluten. But taking the pill just in case some accidentally gets into your food.

OH and Sami's Bakery is NOT Gluten Free. Read their labels. And at my Celiac Support group in Tampa, the leader warned everyone again. People have gotten sick off of their food.

I do well at Sukhothai. They have 2 locations (Carollwood and New Tampa). The food is VERY good too.

Ive had 2 optical migraines in my life. The first one scared the crap out of me. I was in my early 20's. I was sitting there reading a newspaper when all of a sudden I could not focus or read the words. Everything was "moving". I thought I was going blind.
So I called my Dad (optician) and he had the doctor he worked with call me. The first thing the doctor asked me was if I was on birth control pills (which I was). So he said it was common for some women to get these visual migraines while on the pill. Well I never too a birth control pill again. I dont remember where I was in my cycle, but that was my last pill!!!
Then about 4 or 5 months ago (I am now 39), I thought I would have some wine (I have not drank any in probably 10 years). I had maybe 1/4 of a glass. The next day......optical migraine. At least this time I knew what it was and was calm and relaxed until it passed.
So hormones and certain foods can trigger these.

Interesting. I never had any problems with nosebleeds or bleeding for that matter before. I had been noticing for the past 2 weeks that there were speckles of blood when I blew my nose. And that crusties were dark red.
Then two days ago, I noticed that I had scratched a tiny scab on my arm and that it was gushing. I mean tiny. And later that night, my nose was bleeding. What the?????
So I did some research and figured it out within 10 minutes. I have been taking fish oil, vitamin D (I am deficient) and extra vitamin E. ALL BLOOD THINNERS!!! Not to mention I am eating more spices to make my food taste good (contain salicylates which also thin the blood). These all antagonize vitamin K (the vitamin that makes your blood clot).
I switched vitamin D from one that had a little vitamin K in it to the fish oil. And I used to take chloraphyll drops, but stopped when I went gluten free because I could not find out if they were gluten-free (I called but they never got back to me). Chloraphyll is high in vitamin K.
Anyway, what I inadvertantly did was upped my vitamin K antagonists and lowered my vitamin K intake and there you have it.....bleeds.
I took the chloraphyll the last two days anyway deciding that it was gluten-free (nettles and glycerine) and ate a bunch of green leafy veggies and now there is no blood in my nose. I read it is easily and quickly corrected. Thank goodness!!
