  1. I was diagnosed in 2003 with Celiac. I have additional diet challenges due to AuDHD, which tends to result in food aversions due to texture, taste, and other sensory disruptions. I wish that nutritionist and dieticians were more educated on neurodivergent challenges. Simply saying "You need to eat more vegetables" or handing over lists and recommending recipe...
  2. I am not an ADA expert, but I believe they ARE required to offer a gluten-free alternative. People need to push harder for accommodations from schools and other public services. They ban peanuts from school, they need to respond accordingly for all. Parents have to be the voice for the child. When you speak for your own child, you are also speaking for all...
  3. The inhaler is "Symbicort" (I think I spelled it right) a steroid. The shot he gave me started with a "K" but I don't recall the exact name. He said he thought I just had some "residual inflamation" from the allergies and that if I took the inhaler for a while it should "calm down" my lungs.
