My usual every day breakfast . . . scrambled Eggbeaters or egg whites, a slice or two of deli smoked turkey and a piece of low-fat cheese between two corn tortillas heated in the microwave. It's high protein, has calcium, is low fat, low calorie and low carb. It also keeps me full until noon.
I've read where fermented foods are good for us. Humans all over the world have been eating them for as long as humans have been preserving their food - sauerkraut, kimchee, yogurt, kefir, cheese, pickles - even vinegar and wine!
I eat kimchee almost every day and never had a problem. I buy King's Kimchee and it even has "GLUTEN FREE" on the label under the ingredients. I'm sure it's an acquired taste but I love the stuff.
