  1. What exactly is wrong with 10 flashlights....I only had four types in my pack, but then I ran into solar flashlights...somehow they got added to my various kits

Check on all that except the thing my husband used to "love" picking up at the store before I lost that plumbing Was joking with hubs tonight...I think I could build a crude tent with emergency blankets and duct tape....and outfit it pretty well...all with my emergency response team pack....of course I am no longer sure I could carry it a great distance...
  4. Engineer here...just went to a larger glass...cuz I spilled a touch from the last pour. Now I have a large glass...half full Edited to add...'tween pours I got the pool plumbing hooked back up again and bathed the dog ... Poor thing has been scared of water her whole life and is now 15 and has skin eby-jeebies...we splashed around in a warm epsom bath...

  6. wipes - check, but were dried out meds - had to add the silly epi to the go bag thus the reason for today's inspection -- figured if I had to add epi, i would take the opportunity to add wine -- which is what I am about to do to my day pouring now

So the fun around here today is....the above ground pool which is my safe haven had a lovely sparkling salt water generated shine when I left on a three day trip with the hubs...the filter pump is on a timer, but somehow the salt water chlorine generator turned off...

  13. Just showed the picture to one of the men....I do believe we will be making this on Wednesday Back log of defrosted meat in the frig right now. Tonight is spaghetti with sausage Tomorrow are my birthday ribs...was never home at dinner time this weekend and was too busy today to marinate, etc....so we will have tomorrow.

  20. We have no A/C....we close all the windows and spend most of the time in the bottom floor walkout -- lots cooler down there. Stay cool -- 102 in the shade here and the winds are kicking a bit

  22. I'm fine Colleen -- we live near the beach. This photo is really dramatic...but the important part to remember is The big equipment has arrived...now the firefighters can get the situation under control I love our Firefighters and all first responders - everywhere!
