  3. Good News...ankle is less swollen and pics show no breaks Bad News...resumed my plan to make light flaky biscuits and found I had no yogurt - doh!!! Heading to the store after this round of ice and will be making a uncured bacon, free range egg and fresh cheese biscuit tomorrow morning!!!! Dinner is pork chops and stuff

Got Mom's PT done and am home now -- it's elevated, compressed with ice on it -- i usually do one half hour on/one off -- drives the men nuts when I make them ice more than they want!!!! Good to know what I'm in for -- and I never use heat so I will once the swelling goes down. I can PT myself while PT'ing with Mom -- so that is...

Don't I know it...silly thing needs a picture now that I've been up on it for a few hours -- funny how when you go to the drug store with crutches everyone has sympathy for you...but when your near dead from an autoimmune disease and you get "Well, at least you look really healthy!"   7. The other "Lucy" tripped over her own feet yesterday and has a nice swollen ankle -- doh...pretty sure nothing is broke so waiting for a picture.   11. I second Karen...details please Addie! Our house has a revolving door...dinner is somewhere between 630 and 730..whether it's me cooking (630) or hubs when I'm down or out (730)...whomever is home gets it fresh...all else have a plate waiting for them to re-heat.
  12. Pizza last night was the best yet -- even the men liked! Used cauliflower, cream cheese and an egg for the crust - yum. I'm in the kitchen early as I needed a break from fighting with Mom's insurance companies -- not really fighting -- it's just the process. Anyhoo, thought I'd roll out some enchiladas and bake something yummy while watching the delayed...
  13. Oh to be a fly on the wall of that elevator Dinner tonight is Paleo Pizza with fresh basil, garlic, asparagus, green onion and mozzarella...not really sure what the men are having! Teasing -- Hubs making dinner for him and one son -- other has rotten cold so I made him a nice big bowl of turkey broth, broccoli, dakota squash and pork chop soup.

  18. Dinner tonight was at the ballpark for Padre home opener. Son had a dog, I had encore chicken. There may have been cheetos and brownies...throwback padre colored snacks are tradition for my kids. We lost...but had a blast...hung until top of the eighth...decided to beat the crowd on the trolley as son is hoping train for his sis's in northern California...
  19. Still envy your carrots....need to plant the rainbow seeds I purchased last year. My upstate NY Uncle Jack is back in the hospital and cousins think this time is different as in may be time -- wonderful corn farmer and better man -- is 92, but never easy to watch those we love suffer.
