  2. i just put a 9x12 pineapple upside down cake in the oven -- happy men circling the kitchen island The rest of dinner is Mexican as it is Cinco de Mayo!!! Crispy Carnitas Corn Tortillas -- usually let the hubby have flour with carnitas...but with Dad and Sis at the table -- well just too many glutenie fingers hanging about for my comfort. Homemade...
  3. You can do it Shadow...isn't this the semester with over 20 units? So dinner got changed around while I was taking care of Mom -- Hubby didn't hear me when I laid out da plan. So the fresh bread I made in prep for French Onion Soup will keep until Monday for a redo. Good news is he defrosted stew meat (he did here the "we" need to defrost meat part...

Yep...stole it from Addie -- but heck -- HIP HIP HOORAY....the first corner of the multi-compound is underway....i do have my own bathroom, right Dinner tonight is Peter's French Onion Soup and some sort of meat...had a date with my boys at the movies today and forgot to pull something out...off to defrost and run to check on Mom. I was a black, navy, brown with light accent for the past 15 years as i bloated up like a balloon...now i'm wearing ALL bright colors and loving it...my professional clothes go to Autumn, but my exercise wear (daily norm) is black or grey leggings with bright bold colors on top -- no more boring for me - no way, no how! My kids are two diamonds and one citrine -- makes an awesome mothers ring...I've got two clear cz eternity bands with a citrine cz band sandwiched in there -- hubs is under instruction to get me a real set - one of these days -- for now this set sparkles at me nicely.
  9. I wear hot pink regular now with jeans or royal blue -- the little bit's brother loves royal blue -- my favorite color is green -- lucky for me it's my birthstone so i get to wear it around my neck with anything

  14. Pesticides are in the soil and therefore in the plant...how does soap on the surface remove pesticides that reside within the plant work?
  15. I'm a bit confused here....if you are rinsing legumes properly -- and are still having a "gluten-like" reaction -- my bet is you have an issue with digesting that particular legume.....I can't eat any - but that is me.

Wonderful day yesterday except I flipped a kayak so my mobile is resting in the oven with hydrogen peroxide on its little connections - likely dead but hought id give it until tomorrow to spring back. Piazza sounds great - men off to a very special Padre game with a dear friend of ours and 30 others to surprise this friend with pancreatic cancer - its pancrratic cancer night at the park - the whole group gets to meet and great after the game - a very special night for all the dads and their sons.   21. Forgot to defrost meat before I left the house today -- sooooo -- breakfast for dinner -- waffles, bacon, eggs, etc for the men and I'll punt. Oh I did make lemon "brownies" -- now I know these as lemon bars -- but saw a new recipe in the funny pages that called them lemon brownies -- so it caught my eye...they look and smell yummy -- just made lemon...
