This is my youngest - brilliantly talented writer and artist - a born storyteller...he often doubted his intellligence because of his discalculia - finally got him to understand everyone has strengths and weakness - he'll be a great author one day - until then he will be found teaching middleschoolers...

    Oh dinner - I'm tired and grumpy so Ralph Soup encores for them - zunoodles and meat of some sort for me. Lemon cake is still calling my name - I wish it would stop!

    Going CRAZY tonight! Hubby is making meatloaf -- ONE meatloaf -- I'm going to have our regular gluten-free loaf. Trial by fire of -- small amount of egg along with a few udi's crumbs -- Benedryl at the ready, but hopeful. Mashed Japanese Sweet Potato for me - regular smashed spuds for them.     Wish I could pack some up and send it east - we are unusually cold for here - but lots of sun too - even had a daytime fire today - I love this weather Have a good friend down in Brisbane that is stuck in her home with her two toddlers as her sitter can't make it thru the floodwaters. She has two grants to write this week - no fun.

    The lab at UCSD along with conversations with Mayo could not figure out how to run DAO levels -- crazy and sad, but true. I had tried every antihistamine available while trying (in vain) to diagnose my extreme intolerance to heat and exercise with my allergist -- only one that ever worked for me is Benedryl -- problem was it makes me so tired I cannot...
