  4. What was her reaction to avocado? I ask because it was a one-off food that made me bloat like crazy during my elimination diet. Nearly a year later I realized my intolerance of histamine containing and histamine inducing foods.   5. Dinner for lunch today as we have a concert to attend this evening Meatloaf Mashed Potatoes Peas Ground Beef, Onions and Broccoli quick fry for me

Steak with Quick Onion Confit Broccoli with Mac & Cheese for the guys -- loving using sharp cheddar cheese spread for quick mac and cheese -- they are loving it more Walked 6 miles in the rain this morning with my dog -- she hates rain and water but was a trooper -- mile 4 she said she was done -- a little pep talk and she sprung back to it...

  9. Unfortunately - I have experience. Surprised only that we are discussing a young child -- my thinking is that if caught early the digestive system can recover with only removing gluten. ?s Do you use processed/prepackaged gluten-free foods regularly? If so -- cut those first. Keep with whole foods, rice and corn is fine -- unless a problem...

Had to update and thank my hubby -- I didn't feel like preparing anything for me...so he heated coconut oil....added baby brussel sprouts....then skinny broccoli -- always forget the name of the thin baby stuff -- then added diced salmon jerky!!!! finished off with a few green onions and dumped on top of zu-noodles and mixed One happy foodie here...
  11. We are having another three days of rain -- a very good winter for us thus far -- we need water! Dinner is Turkey Soup Encores for men and their friends. Zu-noodles with some sort of meat for me. Aebleskivers with hot carmel fudge sauce for them -- chocolate mooooooose for me, again -- hmmm may be time for more blueberry "ice cream"
  12. Carnitas brewing in the crockpot - smells good. Mixing flavors -- have some left over corn bread so going to make regular stuffing, but throw in a bit of green chili. For me japanese sweet potato fries and pork without peppers. Just registered - well waitlisted for Chemistry and Biology -- crazy I am voluntarily signing up for courses I successfully...

OMG Burgers on Buns made with Pamela's Bread Mix - I buy OMG burgers premade at my favorite market in Santa Rosa -- maybe I already told this story -- pardon the frog -- anyway if I haven't they are made with grass fed beef, cheese, bacon and bbq sauce all premixed into the patty. Haven't bought them on the past two trips because I cannot eat them -- Son...

  17. I've got a cooking husband -- thank goodness -- otherwise the family would have starved during certain periods of time -- I'm grateful for him and that I taught my kids to cook too -- although they are all very happy to let me take care of it for awhile
  18. Last night men over-ruled the pork chops in favor of steak - go figure Tonight I'm doing K's pork chops along with a new to us - very old cornbread recipe and cucumbers in herb sour cream sauce.
  19. I'm copying this for tomorrow night....and no bungee jumping for me - that snap would fry my circuits - landing in water is the only way to jump off a bridge - oh don't forget to wear tennies to break the water

  23. oh dessert is vanilla ice cream with brownie crumbles (crumbled kicking around under my feet on the road trip) and hot carmel fudge sauce -- and....mousse for me

Feel better Addie and quesadillas are not lazy -- throw a little something on top and it looks gourmet Turkey Soup as planned with many, many mini muffin tins of pamelas bread -- usually treat hubby to fresh french bread on turkey soup night -- but some family along with son's band is here -- do not trust all those gluten eaters to use care
  25. Hi Kiki! Not sure if I already posted this....I also cannot do canned tuna -- even packed in water -- due to intolerance to histamine containing and inducing foods.
