Made yummy enchiladas for one son, other knew he would order "safely" off the menu and I had my normal fare with a nice large glass of vino -- Margaritas...
  2. I loved Lamb until one of my dogs absolutely freaked on the BBQ like we were cooking his best friend -- was so bad we had to pull the lamb chops off the q and finish in the house -- that was years ago and I haven't purchased lamb in years. Think maybe it is time for a leg o' lamb for New Year's or maybe a trip down under - that sounds fun -- silly road trip...
  3. It is - its my go to sauce for quick meals - that and cilanto or basil pesto type substance made with almonds
  4. Ok...this sounded gross - yet when I went to turn my large pot of broth into carrot/garlic soup/sauce and realized I forgot to buy carrots...this post had stuck in my mind so I added sweet potatoes to my minuscule carrot supply -- mistakes often yield the best results Thanks Paul!

All well and vertical here after a minor hiccup this week - and it is pouring rain - I cant wait to get outside when the sun arrives - my lungs LOVE exercising in the rain - I know I'm a freak of nature. Or for nature and weather more precisely. Happy Birthday to Mr. IrishHeart - just keep smiling - it will make him wonder what you are thinking about...

  12. A C- while feeling poorly is far better than an A+ while feeling fine And I add my avoid the epi chant. Long couple days here - Dinner was chicken tenders - tacos for men -- broccoli, spag squash and carrot sauce added to mine.
  13. grass...greener I love Sonoma in the winter....too many allergens in the air for me in the Summer -- my daughter lives in Santa Rosa
  14. Your men fit well here....we never made sand castles -- only huge pits at the top of high tide line which auto fill into pool for a bit then destroy the days work -- only had a few tears when they were little - grown now and they still dig even larger pits with their friends PS...January, June and November are the toughest bet for picture perfect weather...
