  2. Great to hear...I had a similar rush to ER just after the New Year flip...only idea after a day of a very new scary pain was connective tissue in the chest -- great. At least it was a false alarm....yet another mystery

Welcome to the holidays according to kitty....our first Christmas with Shelby she removed all the ornaments from the bottom quarter of the tree and would pop out from hiding behind branches of the tree to swat at us if we tried to rehang them -- my toddlers (now teens) never created such mischief

  12. I count three with heat issues including me - yay I won't be alone in the snow while the snowbirds bug out. Dinner was I'm scared to say it -- Turkey Soup for me. The men had Spaghetti with ground chicken pasta sauce and salad. I did make a wonderful blunder today...tried altering my chocolate mousse type substance to a vanilla pudding ts ...
  13. Iin the Summer our cabana boys will have that much more time to spritz us with water and provide massages while we lounge around our pool after our group aqua arobics - drifting off into daydream - can no longer remember what's for dinner
  14. Men had take out. I had Turkey Soup Trifecta - does that sound better than leftovers of leftovers? Second Encore? Encore Re-do? Leftover 2.0? ok..I had Turkey Soup again.
  15. I use hydrogen peroxide too. My inner ear gets itchy whenever my body is flaring. Never heard of olive oil - will give that a try next time. Shadow- so sorry to hear of your professor's passing. If you are feeling up to it get to the memorial - it doesn't take away the loss, but certainly helps process it. Hoping you are feeling strong very soon...
  16. Our bird is still giving - had one night off to give my men red meat to prevent a major revolt - tonight will be Turkey and Waffles for these California Kids - turkey soup encore for me.

  19. Hold that Victrola..... Vinyl is back! My 19 year old is collecting now -- bought him a turn table last Christmas with USB connection so they can transfer their vinyl to digital...yep...stay tuned we are not as old as we thought - well that may be going a bit too far The current vinyl comes in a wide variety of colors, transparent, opaque, etc...
  20. We are still in turkey mode -- a 24 pound bird's carcass takes nearly as much fridge space as he did before Turkey Day. So tonight is turkey soup -- only have to leave out the tomato and wide noodles for my share --- and loads of leftover to freeze Rare crusty gluten filled bread for hubby - Schar's french bread for kids. I'll smell hubby's and live...
