Have had 4 EGDs and a colonoscopy

Colitis with GI bleed

In 2005 have some kind of viral infection and never got better. Suffered from extreme fatigue, joint and muscle pain, rashes, sinus trouble, anxiety, sleep problems, numbness and tingling in feet. Since 2005 I have seen 8 Drs, had dxs of nocturnal asthma to polymyalgia rheumatica and have 1000s of $ of tests. I can not seem top lose weight and my stomach growls constantly and is so loud it embarasses me. I always feel bloated and gassy. Finally my FNP suggested Celiac. I had a blood test which was negative but she suggested I try a gluten free diet. I started it on 4/8/09 and 2 days later the joint pain was almost gone and I had more energy. I am so hoping this is the answer. As much as I love bagels and pizza and a cold beer every now and then I woulg gladly give them up forever to feel better.
