  1. Mel- Well if you can't have soy and it had soy in it then that would likely have caused the reaction. I hope you feel better...how have you been feeling besides that? any better? any worse? I have been doing well. I had a check up done for vitamins and minerals and they came back good again:) Before I was diagnosed with celiac I was shown deficient...
  2. That brand is manufactured by ConAgra which will not hide anything. Have you had a problem with corn before?
  3. It is not on my lists of gluten free meds. Just because it is not on there does not mean that it has gluten. The best thing to do is call the manufacturer. Never assume anything with gluten. It's best to check if you do not know.
  4. There are alot that are gluten free in the US but I'm not sure about Canada Wish I could help
  5. I guess another thing to do is look and see where it was made. If it was made in the US it's safe otherwise it may or may not be safe.
  6. On many sites it says that Citric Acid is in fact safe at least in the US. This is from a site I went to: When citric acid is made in the United States, it is made from sugar cane, sugar beets or corn; however, when it is produced in China, it may be made from wheat. I'm not sure about other countries because it did not say but I know in the US it...
  7. Thanks for posting that. I am going to email them and tell them that they need to take that off the list. I have had that happen before with other brands that say they are gluten free yet I check the label and it says something thats obvious. It's always good to double check

  9. Leidenschaft-I would think it would be the whole Neutrogena line. They did not say in the email that it was just for the US. I would call and ask them if their products that are gluten free are worldwide. I would think they are but I am not positive
  10. I requested a gluten free list from Neutrogena and they sent me this updated one today: Active Breathable Sunblock SPF 30 Active Breathable Sunblock SPF 45 Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Eliminating Peel Advanced Solutions Acne Therapy System Advanced Solutions Facial Peel Advanced Solutions Micro-Ocide Crystallized...
  11. Wheat and gluten can be hidden under alot of things yes . MSG most of the time in the US is derived from corn and is therefore NOT off limits to celiacs. MSG is bad for you altogether it is not healthy. It's not good for anyone but many celiacs are in fact fine with it because it is derived from corn. It can be derived from wheat and that is mostly seen...
  12. Citric acid is fine in the US and I have never had a reaction to anything with citric acid in it. 2new2celiacs-I'm a mountain dew fanatic too and I never had a reaction either and I am pretty sensitive now MSG is fine in the US as well. http://www.enabling.org/ia/celiac/sn/spnk9804.html Here is a link that has a section near the bottom about MSG...
  13. Yes Richard again is correct. MSG is NOT off limits to celiacs. And I have never known citric acid to be a problem in the US.
  14. If you have trouble with citric acid it do not think it would not be a celiac issue because as celiac3270 said citric acid is fine. I've never heard of it being a problem in the US...outside of the US I'm not sure.Hope this helps you out a bit
