    once i removed soy from my son's diet he made great improvements. He is now soy free, gluten free, dairy free and egg free. He just eats the grass in the backyard Maybe remove soy also and see if your son improves? I am starting the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) tomorrow in hopes it helps him heal.     I have a 2 year old. While researching leaky gut I found some information on a GAPS diet. Has anyone tried this? It seems rather involved (and disgusting) but if it helps to heal his gut it may be worth a try??? He is sensitive to so many things which make it hard to find food his likes.     My son 2, has recently started taking it in the last 2 weeks. His bowels have changed quite a bit. He now has form in his bowels which he did not have before.     My sons GI doctor was concerned about Celiac because my mom has psoriasis. Celiac disease and psoriasis are cousins in the autoimmune dept. it is very possible your other family members have Celiac too.

    Thanks for the info. I live in the US, Texas. I was talking to someone today that was telling me I need to buy separate dishes (pots, pans, bowls, plates ect) because plastic can absorb the gluten. Is this true, is it really that important?? Thanks for the website. I am ready to start the ongoing process of gluten free. Just hope I can keep him away...
