  1. stuffing, mashed potatoes from a box, caned cranberries, anything that might of been cooked in beer or an alcohol, any casseroles, Cambels soups all contain gluten, so yeah almost everything, i make my own meal every year and go to all the parties on a full stomach, if i get hungary i look for cheese plates(not crackers) and fruit and veggie trays =/ sucks...
  2. also i don't know much about DNA tests i know they are expensive but maybe they could find out that way? i'd say its worth looking into
  3. ahhh explains alot, well i don't know the exact name of the product but i know gluten is in the name you can get it at walmart in the flour and baking goods area, i'd put it in things like oat meal and you can make soups use it as a thickener and put it in omlet as a thickener(IHOP uses pancake batter to help strenghen the egg) honestly its pretty...

Question to anyone who has recently decided to have children fiance and i are talking bout possible future plans and naturally the topic children has come up, my fears are that i will have on child with the disease and one with out, then what am i supposed to do raise one normal let him have a happy meal but the other child can not. or do i pretend they both...
  5. huh don't hear of a diet like that every day so the doctor wants more flour? well i'd stay away from refined flour(the pure white stuff it just gets digested like sugar) why does she need wheat? is it a high fiber diet? or is it a high carb diet? what does he expect to achieve by filling her with gluten? btw you can buy gluten in stores
  6. yeah i think almost everyone on this site is, i am sorry to say this but i only have celiac disease but a close friend of mine has similar ailments as you, she is on one hell of a strict diet she eats chicken, and raw vegetables, she also has to take allergy shots on a regular basis and has to take steroids which no matter how little she eats she still gains...
